I'm all against getting rid of Liv at this stage. Why part with Nicola Walker? And with Eight's history of losing companions, it's actually a novel thing for him to have such a long standing one? She'd my favorite companion of his since Lucie, who left all to early IMO. Let's not start looking for ways to say goodbye quite yet and enjoy all the stories we can with her. Totally agree about keeping Liv around. I am still enjoying Nicola Walker's performance as Liv. I really like how Liv is an equal to the Doctor. She's mature enough not to be reckless or impulsive and doesn't let her emotional baggage get in the way. She'll still call out the Doctor, but only when he needs it.

I think you sum it up pretty nicely. The operative word to me really is maturity. Which is a trait that is shared by companions such as Evelyn & Constance for 6.

Yah, totally agree here. While I'll get anything McGann (or any Doctor) that BF offers, I was a little bummed out when Doom Coalition ended the way it did with a continuance uncertain. More Please!

Not to mention that Liv's happy moments, like A Life in the Day, feel so much happier because of her tragedies (and the sting in the tale so much more painful, damn you Dorney!). When Liv leaves it'll be her choice, into something good for her.
