Interesting if it is with Crusade being often cited as being one of the most costly to Animate. (half a dozen one scene speaking characters and 4-5 one scene locations they can't substitute a multiple scene location animation cells for.) Regards mark687 Given the ending of the animations (for now) and The Crusades is the only one with missing episodes, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just do a recon and call it a day. I’ve always thought that S2 is the most viable option of the 60s seasons to be released given that it’s only two missing episodes in that season. Probably unlikely now, but wouldn’t it be awesome if they recovered the missing episodes. I’ll definitely settle for a retcon otherwise.

And if it ever does get the animation treatment, I’ve no doubt that the relevant features, recon, etc. would be included on that release, so it’d be an easy disc swap and add the animated story to the S2 set with nothing lost.

2nd hand info from the weekend's DWAS Capital Event Panel
4 Complete Season boxsets are "actively" being worked on currently, there are bonus content ideas for the next 2 after that.
There's also the chance of 1 more single story release after Abominable (didn't say what and didn't say what form any reconstruction would take.)

Regards mark687 Up until now, the only info we've had about the future of the animations has been pure rumour and speculation. It's disappointing to hear that it's probably been true all along As for the Season sets, it's all felt really quiet on that front lately. Has Season 22 even been given a release date in the UK yet? I haven't been about to find anything anywhere with even an estimate of when it's expected to hit shelves. Given it was announced two and a half months ago, I thought we'd have some idea of its release date by now.

You'd think they'd have said something if there was sort of manufacturing delay though. Or maybe they're simply waiting to make absolutely certain that when they do announce a release date, they don't end up having to delay it for a week or two like with every other set so far

Regards mark687 True, both my sister and I were surprised when they announced the next one so soon after S17 (which wasn't even out yet here in Aus). At the end of the day, I don't want them to rush things and release a subpar product. I just love the weeks one of these sets is released, as I usually get to spend at least a solid week working my way through all the content. I know S17 came out less than two months ago here is Aus, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be little impatient waiting for the next one!

However there was a listing on a site (that correctly listed Galaxy 4 and S17 in the past) saying that it was releasing in June.

Here in the US, season seventeen finally comes out tomorrow. I think season 22 is supposed to come out this year.

I had thought if they were going to be bringing out three sets this year it would have been the end of April but if it was we'd have a date by now.

Regards mark687 Take this with a grain of salt, but I’d thought I’d heard somewhere that it was going to be an animated adaptation of The Ultimate Adventure. I just wish I could remember where I’d seen it.
