Being hopeful, I'd interpret that announcement as 'For obvious reasons it would be difficult to make similar trailers for S7 and S11 - so get ready Pertwee fans because they'll be along soon...'

Being hopeful, I'd interpret that announcement as 'For obvious reasons it would be difficult to make similar trailers for S7 and S11 - so get ready Pertwee fans because they'll be along soon...' It's difficult to choose which of those two I'd prefer. Series 11 is when I first consciously made a point of watching Doctor Who, just in time to see the main player 'die!' Series 7, however, has become a real favourite because it's kind of an amalgam of Troughton's final season style and what would become Jon Pertwee's signature style - but it wasn't quite there by this point. Series 7 is its own beast, rather like Doctor Who produced by ITC. Or put another way, either of the above released onto Blu-ray would make me very happy 😁

While my impression is that it's not generally considered to be a great season, I actually quite enjoy a lot of Season 15. Fang Rock has always been the highlight, but I'm also a big fan of The Invisible Enemy and The Invasion of Time. The Sun Makers is also quite fun, but it depends on the day how much I enjoy Fendahl. Underworld is Underworld. At least all of its episodes underrun Taking a wild stab in the dark at some of the special features, I'm going to bet The Sun Makers is this season's recipient of a 5.1 mix. It has the most raw materials surviving today to make the mix properly (copies of Parts 1, 3 and 4 with the raw studio sound, and I'm pretty sure most if not all of the original score survives too). If not Sun Makers, then the other two likely stories at The Invisible Enemy (the less likely, see below why) and Underworld (the FAR more likely, see below why). Mark Ayres could, of course, do what he did with stories like The Sea Devils and create a 5.1 mix through his magical audio editing skills (I could see Fang Rock being a good choice), but these three would appear to have the best base materials to work from. In terms of studio material, we could see an expanded selection of material from the studio recordings of The Invisible Enemy and up to 7.5+ hours from Underworld. Sadly, the only story in the season with any surviving original film elements is The Invasion of Time, but given its prevalence in the later episodes it should prove a nice upgrade. Not sure who to expect on the relevant season Sofa. Louise Jameson and John Leeson are strong bets, but I'm not sure Tom will be there after his absence on the Season 17 set. As always, we'll hopefully have Janet and Sarah with a plus one as well! (Been meaning to post this for ages) Well, it looks like my predictions were a little way off No 5.1 for Sun Makers, Invisible Enemy, or Underworld! I can say I thought Fang Rock would be a good choice though, so it's not like I completely overlooked it like Fendahl or Invasion of Time No specific word on the studio material for Enemy or Underworld, but I do imagine we'll have an expanded package compared to the DVD releases. And as for the Sofa's, at least most of the people I predicted/hoped for are indeed on there! _____ Regarding the news of the minisode trailers coming to an end, I can't personally say I'm disappointed by it. I liked the spirit of them, but the constant "companion gets revisited by/reunited with the Doctor" idea isn't something that excites me very much, and Leela's reunion with the Fourth Doctor at the end of the latest trailer ruined an otherwise great short for me. I know a lot of people have enjoyed these though, so it's a shame they're going to miss out on these for future releases.

'(The Life of Graham Williams) documentary should be the first thing that fans watch when they get their boxsets next month'.
It probably will be!
It's great that this story, written at the eleventh hour to replace another script, is still so revered all these years later. Quite right too. You can't beat a good horror story.

Heads up to our Antipodean folk So apparently 4th Doc Season 15 pre orders are hitting Australian online retailers with a June 19th Release Date but a $150 Price tag, Ordering from UK therefore still works out cheaper even factoring in potential import/customs Tax.
