This is great news. My opinion is that Murray Gold's music has actually matured and improved over time (this from someone who appreciates music but can't play a note) and Series 9 contained some of his greatest stuff. Here's where the anticipation for a Series 10 soundtrack begins

Terrific news - Heaven Sent getting a full disc is just wonderful news. I've adored Murray's work under Capaldi. Nowhere near as bombastic and instantly iconic as his work for RTD and Tennant's era but as Paz says there's a real maturity to it. A more diverse group of influences too.
I will miss Murray, and am very glad to have had the chance to meet him at the Symphonic Spectacular.

I've never really understood the criticism of his work, to be honest. Your dealing with all of time and space - and on a budget (and an audience who was used to seeing Harry Potter), of course it needs to bold and cinematic. And for the last twelve years, he's been endlessly innovative.
