While I loved Dark Eyes and Doom Coallition and the darkness can't be avoided, I'm glad we're getting some more traditional stories, albeit with that beautiful bittersweet melchaony.

YES!!! The Kandy Man is finally coming back. I’ve been wanting him to make a return ever since I first saw Happiness Patrol. Its about time that the Doctor’s greatest enemy came back. I hope the TARDIS is well stocked with lemonade.

All I know is that getting three McGann boxed sets (two Ravenous volumes and one Time War volume) both this year and next seems like a genuine luxury.

Wasn't there some copyright issue with Bassett's ages ago? I love both interpretations of the Kandyman, though, and maybe we'll see how the more tart human version turns into the confection conception. |

I've never really understood the hate for the Kandyman. I always found him incredibly chilling and unnerving, to be honest (and that voice :shivers:) and he's exactly something Moffatt would have done during his reign.
