Interesting that Cicero Series One is six episodes, and Transference is eight. If Big Finish ever wanted to make CD copies they would have to release them in two volumes. But they have chosen not to have Series 1a and 1b for each. It also probably means that interviews are per-episode, not all together.

I am not really interested in yet another piece of writing/creation from Louis Jameson (for me her writings is amougst the worst stuff) and with the subject matter holding no interest Rest quite excited about, so the bundle is worth getting now it’s still gonna be a box set saving......and I may be plesently surprised with the one I am not sure of. but it if you think you might get 4 it’s worth taking a punt I would say. Right now, I'm mainly interested in Cicero, which I will definitely be getting. Same, absolutely loved the first story! The one I am least interested in is The Human Frontier. I find Nick Briggs' writing is very hit & miss.

I find Nick Briggs' writing is very hit & miss. Must say I think Nick Briggs has far more 'hits' than 'misses'. The last two Nick Briggs stories I heard were superb - TWM 'Beneath the Viscoid' - classic base-under-siege but as played out by the Master, and 3DAv3 'The Conquest of Far' - so authentic, it could almost have been the soundtrack to a 'lost' Third Doctor & Jo story. And it gave a perfect 50/50 balance to my favourite Doctor and Companion with equally important roles to play, then combined their storylines neatly at the end to defeat the Daleks. Loved it.

I would agree with that assessment. I think Nick, more than any other BF writer is someone who is most clearly defined by his passions. Specific things about Doctor Who, The Prisoner, Daleks. So him stepping out to do something completely original makes this the series I am most curious about.

Was shocked that I loved it as much as I did. I'm looking at The Prisoner when I say I'm most curious about Nick's series.

I’m confused. Thinking if I should get the bundle or pick up individually on a need-to-listen basis.. The Bundle is significantly cheaper if you get it this week than sometime later and individual releases will increase in price on their release.

It's just the fear of the unknown I suppose Some I know I will like, others I'm not sure. It can go either way.

My problem is I'm not sure I want all the releases enough to get the bundle. I am not really interested in yet another piece of writing/creation from Louis Jameson (for me her writings is amougst the worst stuff) and with the subject matter holding no interest Just to point out that Louis Jameson is not actually writing this.
1.1 Up in the Air by Gemma Page
1. 2 Dancing With A Spitfire by Victoria Saxton
1.3 Flying Blind by Helen Goldwyn
1.4 Too Close To The Sun by Jane Slavin

So I expect that as these are download only Big Finish will offer the first episode of each original series at an “attractive” price to allow potential buyers to sample these.
Big Finish certainly have gone for this in a Big way with a great variety of series.
There are a couple of these I am tempted with, however I am always more tempted with a CD than download.
PS I am NOT MOANING.

PS I am NOT MOANING. I know your not, but Big Finish really can't handle these releases any other way. With The Confessions of Dorian Gray, there was a big push for physical sets from fans after the release of series one, and series one and two (and future series) were subsequently released in physical form, as well as downloads.

How many of these will get a 2nd season I wonder??? That's why we need to support these releases Just wanted to add: I get sci-fi/fantasy/actually great drama cancellation fatigue, but audio is cheaper to make then TV and if we throw our support behind these series, they'll run.

Apart from Shilling and Sixpence and Blind Terror, I am becoming more and more tempted to go for Jeremiah Bourne in Time. The write up sounds pretty impressive to me, and is clearly a project close to the heart of Nigel Planer. And what a cast - worth getting purely for the involvement of Sophie Thompson, I'd suggest!
Another passion project seems to be The Human Frontier by Nick Briggs. I like his epic stories, and still enjoy hearing Dalek Empire from time to time. It would be nice if he could have completed Jekyll and Hyde (or not advertised it until it was complete), which I've had on pre-order for nearly two years now and still shows every sign of being pushed back down the queue.

Noting the limited period of the extra cheap bundle, I ordered all these today. Whether any further series of each will be purchased by me will depend on what I think of each series, as some of them were not immediately exciting to me - but I'm often surprised by enjoying movies, TV series and such that I wasn't sure I would

Thanks, but I did know that. As with most things BF got an open mind, but had it not been part of a bundle, I doubt I would have pre-ordered it.
