Yes, they do rather make great audio drama. (and I speak from the perspective of being myself a kinda-sorta sound designer) to the point where I go and edit the stock meta-data to read "Audio Drama" instead of "Audiobook" for most of BF titles (except for book readings and Short Trips, oh, and most of the "Chronicles" titles) I prefer the term audio drama too, BF calling them audiobooks never made sense to me, (unless they were actually audiobooks of course) but I haven't bothered editing any meta-data tags with that term for years as I just never had the time. Also, I kind of thought it was a bit of a nerdy pastime... Nice to know that I wasn't the only one that did it though.

So that's me signed up for the bundle then. The clincher was (excuse me while I look stupid) re-connecting the fact that 'ATA Girl' was part of the bundle. Somehow (maybe because it was announced first and got its own page early on?) I'd disconnected it from the rest of the Originals and was pricing it as a separate item to buy. With that added in to the total, the bundle was a given. And I've become much keener on 'Jeremiah Bourne' after more details were released.

That causes some confusion when talking about it with friends of mine here in the states as the usual question I get is, "Oh, so it's a podcast?" Arghh.

No, I can't afford the whole bundle at the reduced rate. Payday is on the 28th and the offer ends on Monday. Corks. I still intend to get most of them - all of them if the reviews are good, but as individuals rather than all together. I'm enthused about all of them the more I hear about them, especially Transference, which we only know from David Richardson is 'dark and unsettling.'

Hey guys Just something I've been thinking about: do you think it's pronounced A.T.A. Girls, as in saying each individual letter, or 'ata', as in 'ata girl'? I was saying it A.T.A., but now someone's suggested ata, I'm not so sure...

(or "Atta boy!") meaning "That's a ..." said in a sense of approval, usually for someone being lively, daring or as they would have said then 'sporting' in their approach to life. And the fliers of the A.T.A. certainly qualified - great title by Louise Jameson. EDIT: And she pronounced it so on Facebook, which is definitive! Thanks @experience1 (I don't 'do' Facebook so I missed this.)

Yeah, that was the impression I was starting to get (Makes mental note: it's 'a tta', not 'ata'. Got it )

I'm not going to argue with a warrior of the Sevateem! I have a Leopard Gecko lizard called Dave. I don't think anyone would buy that old feller!

Broke down and bought the bundle. I'll trust BF's track record. My comments about the genre Transference is in still stand. (Eight episodes too long for a single story.) But if I enjoy everything else I'll still have saved money. That won't apply beyond this weekend.

Especially now we know she has the head of the Raston Warrior Robot as a trophy on her kitchen wall! Go Leela! Time passes for everyone and Leela is human, she can't just regenerate and start again. That said, when I saw this cover I did think that her clothes were too modern-day Earth. I would have imagined that Leela would have worn something more severely practical if she was going into a potential combat situation, probably whatever the senior soldiers of Gallifrey were wearing in the Time War. Force of habit if nothing else. And that she'd still have the knife somewhere handy, just in case. Once a warrior of the Sevateem, always a warrior of the Sevateem!

That causes some confusion when talking about it with friends of mine here in the states as the usual question I get is, "Oh, so it's a podcast?" Arghh. I tell people that most of what Big Finish does is full-cast audio dramas, like a radio play. No one's ever thought I meant a podcast.

oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!......just listened to the trailer/sneak peak of ATA girls via the podcast........
it seems to be exactly the kind of production i wished that it wasn't......it might just never get listened this end......i would avoid have avoided this even if it was free on radio 4.....
package not quite such good value now ...... rest of them sound ok........ but just ok on first listen....doubtful now if it was money well spent
