Stephen Moffatt has given a final retrospective interview of his era of Doctor Who, currently being serialised on the Doctor Who YouTube channel. The next part will be available tomorrow. During the second instalment, Stephen Moffatt talks about internet fandom (14:24): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOfIIqb8Uhg&t=638s I agree with him. And I think generally, sometimes, we need to check ourselves and remember that the people involved in Doctor Who are failable and human, as well. Having a place like The Divergent Univerise also is a good place to start

Does internet fandom need to be better?....YES!
Start by dropping the sense of entitlement that exists in certain corners of fandom for a start. Anyway, thanks for the link.

Please continue the conversation in the original thread.

Since you already linked that youtube video here, I'm not seeing the need for a new thread. Please continue the conversation in the original thread. To me, it feels like a broader topic, independent of the interview. I still think we can discuss the topic raised in the OP of this thread within the context of the thread in which the interview was originally posted, without starting a new thread about it. My two cents' worth.
