This presumably would be the Mark Bonnar who is a mere twelve years older than his wife, has coincidentally been very happily married for twelve years and shockingly has two children by the same woman he has been married to all this time! (gleaned from the Internet in a few minutes). Which begs the question : at what point should I even try to pretend to give a **** about the age gap?

Famed director Michael Curtiz (Casablanca, White Christmas) would say 'bring on the empty horses' when he wanted riderless horses to wander through battle in The Charge of the Light Brigade. It amused David Niven so much he used it as the title of his autobiography.

When I was very young, I had a theory that the little beeps you heard when you dialled from a landline were actually used to communicate with the computers that connected calls. I thought that if you tampered with the pitch or timbre of the note as it was being transmitted, you'd affect the message on the other side and be able to do weird things with your phone. This recently resurfaced in my brain after watching an episode of The Equalizer, where McCall dials his home from a payphone and checks his voice messages using a beeper. Turns out, this was 100% a thing. It was called phreaking. Fascinating stuff.

Also fascinating: The writer of Leviathan, Brian Finch, and his son Paul (who adapted it for Big Finish) are both descendants of Charles Dickens. Cool, right? Paul Finch's blog tells tale of how he found the original scripts for the story.

Today I learned that Pete Townshend of The Who produced a rock opera of The Iron Man, the book that would eventually become The Iron Giant.
On one hand, I'm surprised that there is a rock opera of The Iron Giant. On the other, now that I know that it exists, I am 0% surprised that Pete Townshend was its creator.

The Americans. The Irishman and Schindler's List screenwriter Steve Zailian started out as an editor on B-movies like Kingdom of the Spiders with Captain Kirk.

I was watching a 60fps conversion of the #SaveTheDay trailer and I noticed that the jumper Five wears is the one he wore in Dimensions in Time.

Wake up feeling what's the point? I repeat. Please get out of there. At least for a while. YOU need to make a first step to change something. Take some time out.
Of course things won't change from the point you are sitting. And I am pretty sure you know Einstein's definition of insanity.
Do yourself a favour. And take a first step away.

Wake up feeling what's the point? Sometimes you have to just let go and ignore people in your life and do what is right for you. I dumped a lot this year and am much better for it .Some people just are toxic to you and you have to admit you are no ones saviour. Do take notice of people’s opinions as even on here I get some good insights from others opinions.Take heed. I got out of a bad relationship and a bad friendships too but on my terms the way that was healthier for me i didn’t need to change as there was nothing that required changing apart from my trait of being good to people who were not to me. So what if you epitaph is collecting merchandise as long as you can say I didn’t hurt anyone ,didn’t use anyone and did the best you could. Learn to ignore folks who are just dickheads even if they are family. You will be the stronger and the better for it mate 🍩🤪😉make 2020 a good year say goodbye to shit thoughtcatalog.com/natalia-vela/2019/11/30-things-i-hope-you-learn-to-let-go-by-30/ Ok so you are only 15 years behind lol 🤪

No Time To Die is of course the title of the new Bond film.
However today I learned it was the title of a 1958 film directed by Terence Young, of the early Bonds, and produced by the father of Bond on screen Cubby Broccoli. I just thought it was a nice Bond-ian title, I didn't know it was EON paying tribute to the pre-Bond days of their dad.

Hello again. Today is the second day of February in the year 2020 for a large percentage of the world. If you write that in dd/mm/yy format or even the US format mm/dd/yy format you get: 02/02/2020 or backwards 02/02/2020 which is of course a palindrome. The Doctor would be delighted! www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-51349158
