A 43-page script for the very first story once belonging to William Hartnell will be going to auction. It was unearthed in the actual lodgings of William Hartnell in Mayfield where he stayed whilst recording Doctor Who and it also recently featured on The Antiques Roadshow and is going under the hammer on May 3rd. Not only is it Hartnell's personal script, it also has his handwritten annotations and amendments in it. Thankfully, the finder saw something in it and didn't chuck this piece of history away with the rest of the rubble and rubbish and his forethought should make a pretty penny for the finder and a lucky fan with enough cash, very happy. www.antiquestradegazette.com/news/2018/doctor-who-script-for-very-first-episode-owned-by-william-hartnell-comes-up-at-auction/

I’m sure if he won it he would find something wrong with it.

It's nice to see these kinds of things survive the test of time. The blue-pencil annotations would be very interesting to read.
