Is it just me or is the guy on the far right seem off compared to the rest of the cover?

It's the whole cover, I think. I don't know whether it's the blue or the lighting, but all of them look like they're photoshopped in without a great deal of attention paid to the detail. To my eye, it's the horse that most egregiously looks like it's not actually there--on the road, or with a rider.
I don't expect Big Finish to go out and rent a horse or anything silly like that, it just looks odd.

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

They could always get the actors from Rentaghost, i.e. the two who played the Myrka, to appear as Jenny' horse. That would make for an interesting cover!

I think I'll pass.
I used to to love Survivors. It used to be one of my favourite BF ranges before it became episode after episode of "men bad, women good"
disappointing to to see how far it has fallen. 1-4 were excellent, 5 was good, 6 the cracks started to show and 7 was a struggle to listen to 😔

But Maybe i am just a bad man😝😁 That is a part of the problem. I find that attitude seeping in to absolutely all media. including BF, now so i am just starting to drop stuff that is too preachy and unfortunately this is one of the casualties

It's good to know there will be a series 9. Not that there was any real doubt maybe, but it is nice to have confirmation.
I'm looking forward to this, it's been too long since the last set of stories.

I hope that the final resolution to the Abby/Peter story is as grim and emotionally crushing as the end of the Terry Nation Survivors (audio)book. Going by the synopsis you might get your wish

Yes it is good to know and they always say one thing like its not successful and may be cancelled and then in next press release its critically acclaimed etc they need to make up their minds. Sadly, being critically acclaimed doesn't always equal large sales

Sadly, being critically acclaimed doesn't always equal large sales Critically acclaimed by people who get free copies to review means f*** all to me!
There has been a drop in standard in the Survivors box sets for me too. I don't know the exact reason. It's either the BF 'returning to the well too often' syndrome, (which can happen), or me getting immune to the stories and expecting more each time and not being fully satisfied because of my expectations, (which can happen too.)... or a combination of both!

Could it be the change from story arcs being stretched along a box-set to single, more standalone stories that has spoiled it for you? I liked the story-arcs a lot, but I appreciate a familiar pattern was forming, which the singular approach taken with the last two sets has dissipated. I'm wondering what approach the (probably final) new sets will adopt.

I honestly don't know, but I certainly lost interest in a few ranges that seemed (to me) to drag on after a few box sets... as I said, it might just be down to my own expectations, or maybe the originality tailed off and the stories became by-the-numbers? Maybe there was too many other Big Finish products to try? I can't put my finger on one specific thing, I just know my interest waned.

That has happened for me too, although it is the Eighth Doctor's constant epic boxsets that have become un-essential for me, which is a shame (alongside many of the 'nu' series spin-offs). Strangely, the news of Survivors' probable demise has reawakened by interest in the range. I think, for me, it is because there is so much out there that is the problem (looking at BF's listings, September alone has 12 releases) - but what a great problem to have!

As long as the quality remains high, I'm happy with this. It gets better

Recording my review today but I just want to say... story 2... Robert... is potentially an award winner.
And I thought this was the last season! I couldn't take the ending thinking that it was all over.

I just jumped back a few days ago to relisten to series 2 and thought how far the series had come all pretty much compelling storylines. I am hopeful that it doesnt as much as i love it go with the book ending

I have loved it all—it was the first release that made me get the TV series too. Eagerly await 8 and 9 and the wrap up for this arc!
