2005 saw Doctor Who return with one of the strongest set of episodes to date, and although his run was brief, Christopher Eccleston’s unique take on the Doctor had a huge impact on the show and one of television’s most beloved characters. Russell T Davies’ unique blend of dark, complex themes, black comedy and character drama serves as a winning combination that sold the show to a whole new generation of viewers.
The purpose of this project is to recapture the spirit of this first series, as well as to expand on the worlds and characters that the Ninth Doctor introduced to us. If you’re craving for more content beyond the thirteen blessed episodes we were given, then look no further than here!
The Ninth Doctor Adventures is a series of fanmade not-for-profit audio adventures that take place in different points in this particular incarnation’s life.
The series is written by Billy Treacy, Christopher Johnson, Phoenix Smith and Joel H Joelson.
The Ninth Doctor is back! And you’re gonna hear all sorts of things…
PS: I couldn't find any, so I guess there are no previous threads about these releases.

Has anyone listened to this? I just did, and, tbh, it was quite good, especially the music (very Series 1) and the performances. Reminds me of early days BF.

Seems to be blocked for those of us in the USA... 😕 Try their Twitter account, they have another version of it on a platform called Spreaker. They had me at Cold Open for a season premiere title. I'm a sucker for situational double meanings. It has some very nice production design and voice acting. The chap who plays the Ninth Doctor also turns up in a Nine/Twelve crossover called Exhausted Supplies which is flitting around YouTube somewhere. He's very, very good.

Yeah, the production value and performances in Exhausted Supplies and this series (so far haha) are so good they are part of my headcanon. I can't wait for the next instalment. This at least makes up for Eccleston temporary ( ) unwillingness to revisit the role.

Tom Baker, Matthew Waterhouse and Janet Fielding all were supposed to be never.
