Finally got Jago & Litefoot & Strax; looking forward to it! There's a hilarious bit with Strax where Jago is wishing it were anyone else. The line "it was a parrot!" is in there.

I finally feel like a true Big Finish fan because I can say, "Oh, man I already have all of these!"

I just saw the email announcing this special offer. I already have them all, (at this point, I wonder if I should just drop the BF Newsletter option), and this particular offer I kind of wonder as to who it's aimed at. I would tend to think that most people that get the newsletter are like myself and don't need the offer. So it's trying to get outsiders to join in, and that's all fine with me - 'tis a good deal and if they stick around for other stuff, great!

Is Ninth Doctor and New Earth any good? Only two I don't have. I enjoyed a Ninth Doctor. Wasn’t the best release they’ve ever done, but I still liked it. Haven’t listened to New Earth yet.

Just pointing out that the newsletter still has access codes for free downloads that you can only get through the newsletter. I don't usually take advantage of the free downloads - usually part 1 of a story they're trying to sell - but if it's something I'm not sure about getting, I use the code. So for that reason I'm sticking with the newsletter, even though most times I scan it and delete it.

Oh, I know that. It's mostly that I found out via email though. My linked page on BF is "released but not downloaded yet" and I seldom look at the news or the front page. And as I pretty much preorder everything, none of the special offers apply to me any more, so it's mostly scan/delete for me. But I think I'll keep it going. Lately, I've been getting product alerts like a day after I've already downloaded them! (hmmmm, maybe that's intentional, to try to spread the download demand out a bit)

I have most of what's on sale.
Not interested in the Ninth Doctor Chronicles.
I listened to a free excerpt of The Churchill Years Volume 1 and couldn't get into it, so I'm skipping that, too, for now.
Just listened to a free excerpt of UNIT: Extinction that's been hanging around in my account for a while and that sounds interesting, so I'll get that.

I was surprised at how good the Ninth Doctor Chronicles were. The UNIT releases have all been excellent in my opinion, I really hope they keep going with this range.

The 9th Doctor one is the only thing on offer I don’t have and I really don’t know that I have a whole of interest in it.

Well, maybe I'll consider them for the future. In the meantime, I don't think the free Churchill Years excerpt I listened to was from the set that's on sale. I went into my account and saw I hadn't downloaded it yet, so I downloaded it right after I posted this and listening to it now. I've changed my mind and I'm going to throw The Churchill Years Volume 1 in my basket.

Now I’ll return to tonight’s regularly scheduled progamme and serve as a soft comfy surface for the cat to sleep on.
