ZOMG.. My wife could fill up this thread..
The ending of "Medium" and "House" was brutal for her.
The ending of "Quantum Leap" was so sad for me.. It was the night of my final year school formal I taped it on VHS and watched it the next day..

When Jo stayed with Cliff and the Doctor drove off alone... When my Doctor died on the floor of his lab... OK I was about 9 at the time but even so, wow! Great moments of drama best watched with a hankie.

Donna's memory wipe Amy and Rory's end Ten's regeneration EDIT : If we include non-DW then - GoT Arya watching her father’s execution Hodor’s death Jaime and Brienne goodbye scenes - all of them Jon and Sansa reunion. It’s not a sad moment but quite touching

It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
When the young George Bailey is scolded, slapped and ultimately hugged for rightfully disobeying his pharmacist boss - an emotional moment.
