I'm going to mention my first choice as being "The Spectre of Lanyon Moor" just to see Sixie interact with the Brig. After that I'd be heading into TLATE and then into the Eighth Doctor's stories, since he has so little screen time compared to the others. The War Doctor too, though since we have yet to hear them we don't know how visual friendly they will be.

The problem with animating audio stories is that it'd make the descriptive dialog a bit more awkward.

The problem with animating audio stories is that it'd make the descriptive dialog a bit more awkward. You could edit them to remove some of the clumsier descriptive dialogue. most of it would be fine. The completist in me just screams "start at number 1 and work upwards" but I think my preference would be Storm Warning and the following McGann stories. We have so little McGann to watch.

True, but I hadn't envisaged all of them being chosen, The Natural History of Fear couldn't work as a visual, and The Hollows of Time is far too descriptive, but plenty COULD be used.

And some stories would bring their own challenges, where the lack of visuals helps wih dramatic reveals etc.

There's a huge aspect to the story that visuals would immediately ruin. It sometimes gets a bit gruesome in some stories because there are no visuals to censor. Night Thoughts has a corpse with the eyeballs removed.

From my recollection, most of the 4DA should work well with animation, except perhaps "Last of the Colophon".

Gallifrey would be nice. If for no other reason than to finally get to see Narvin's exasperation

I would love to see animations in general, and the ones I've listened to that I've liked the most and which certainly wouldn't be harmed by visuals would be Romance of Crime, The Auntie Matter, Spare Parts, Iterations of I, Fanfare for the Common Men, The Holy Terror, Spectre of Lanyon Moor, The Marian Conspiracy, Nightmare Fair, Leviathan, Last Sontarans, Fearmonger and Night Thoughts! Hopefully as animation software gets more prevalent and cheaper it will become a real possibility. I'm getting used to the audio format but I would still prefer them with nice visuals as well!

Once, I would have instantly named a few audio dramas I'd like to see animated.
Now, though, I'm not too sure I'd like or care to see any animations.
Most if not all of these stories would require some amount of rewriting to make the dialogue match a visual landscape and I think the pacing would probably have to be slowed in places to fit the visuals. Plus, I doubt anything any animator comes up with could top the images we create in our heads for some of these stories. And this is all, of course, assuming the animation is even good!
That being said, I certainly wouldn't object to the idea. The Holy Terror and The Maltese Penguin might be a lot of fun to see in animation. I just want as many people as possible to experience the magnificence of the Big Talking Bird.
