*Adopts early Sixie voice* "Even? Even? EVEN??!!" LOL I know what you mean Mark it does get criticised doesn't it? - but I really like LOTC, not least for the way CB and Frazer Hines recreate that authentic Doctor/Jamie vibe. And the two oh-so-British Cyber-war buddies. Good story too imo. The only thing is it's the middle of the trilogy so there are no answers to the main mystery.
I'd go for The Widow's Assassin, Masters of Earth and Criss-Cross as my top three (in publication order). And 'The Last Adventure' is a must-have.
Of the rest, the only one I don't like is 'The Rani Elite' - too much like a TV-era throwback for me and the Doctor's character jars badly with the previous two stories and Peri's new storyline.
its Madness Agreed!
Its the strongest of the Locum stories Imo.
Likewise with your comment Rani Elite not a bad story but definitely more TV 6th Doc than BF 6TH Doc.

TV Sixth Doctor is fine by me - I always took his abrasiveness as a form of mock indignation rather than anything too sharp. I wouldn't mind any recommendations/pointers to stories outside of the Lost Stories range where Colin revisits his earlier interpretation for old times sake. Colin and Nicola had a rapport of sorts going that grated to some, I know, but there was affection in it too.

Colin and Nicola had a rapport of sorts going that grated to some, I know, but there was affection in it too. Right from the word go almost. One of Twin's cliffhangers is "Peri...? They'll kill her!" and the relief in his voice when he's taken to the throne room is palpable. It's one of those: "Ah... When push comes to shove, they do actually care about each other" moments. The bickering can be pretty heavy, but Season 22's does have those little moments of affection sprinkled all over the place (even Timelash). One his main draws for me has always been that character arc to a softer Six. I enjoy how organic the change feels. His rapport with his companions change as he changes. There aren't many, but... I can recommend The Reaping in the Monthly Range for what is probably fulcrum point that changed Six and Peri's friendship into what we later see in Trial (with a nice guest role for Claudia Christian as Peri's mother). Recorded Time and Other Stories is fun and feels like something that could have slipped in between The Macros and Guardians of Prophecy without much problem. Whispers of Terror and ...ish make for some nice listening with a more abrasive Six as well.

Worth noting, if you include Brood of Erys as part of a subscription, you'll also get: Cuddlesome The Ratings War Last of the Titans (as 2 Parts) No Place Like Home Short Trips: One Small Step Destiny of the Doctor: Hunters of the Earth The Veiled Leopard Bernice Summerfield: Silver Lining
Ratings War, Last of the Titans and No Place Like Home are available on the Big Finish website for free, Cuddlesome, The Veiled Leopard and Silver Lining are on Soundcloud, Destiny of the Doctor isn't a free story and One Small Step is presently the only one not available by itself. It did appear at the end of a podcast, but which one eludes me.

I certainly enjoyed Shield of the Jotunn. Very good direction from Louise Jameson.

Just my opinion but if you've got Planet you might as well get Shield (plus I think its the better of the 2 stories anyway).

Seconded. 'Planet of the Rani' is a strong otherworldly mystery (and a great first episode side-story imo) but I like 'Shield' better. It's a Doctor Who blockbuster action movie with an imaginative script, entertaining characters and plenty of humour. And epic music!
{Spoiler} And Constance driving a bulldozer! WRNS coming through!
