A post in the Companion Chronicles sale got me thinking about this story again.
It’s quite the cracking tale, isn’t it?
It takes Liz and brings her quite far into her future. One of the nice thing about it is that it shows just how brave she could be. It’s also nice to see how she’d react to modern tech like iPhones.
The biggest impression it made on me was an entirely coincidental one!
I listened to this right near the tale end of 2014 and to hear them talking about planned Ebola outbreaks while it happened in reality really made the story hit close to home.
An astonishing tale I find is overshadowed by the last post. But we’ll worth the listen.
What are your thoughts on this particular tale?

I listened to this story this evening and quite enjoyed it.
Quite liked (and was actually expecting) the twist at the end.
But I had an annoyed biologist moment when she was snooping around in the future and looked at the research notes on Ebola and called it a bacillus. A bacillus is a rod-shaped bacterium. Ebola is a virus. A virus is never a bacillus.
