First of all, that timeline is not super accurate in some place, like its placement of The Night Whispers. I should know, they cribbed my own chronology post to make it (so all the errors are my fault! sorry! ) The Maggie & Quentin box takes place some time after Return to Collinwood, so in the early 2000s. The only other story that takes place in this post-RtC time period is "1:53", from the Shadows of the Night anthology release.

Nope! Return to Collinwood is set in 2003, and a lot of the Big Finish stuff is sloooowly setting up its events. Heck, "Cobwebs" from the Dreams of Long Ago anthology ends right before Return to Collinwood, and the aforementioned "1:53" is following up its events, with Carolyne acting on some things that happened therein.

We haven't gotten a cap on Lela yet, but she'll presumably be in the upcoming Bloodline, which has unfortunately been pushed back and back and was supposed to be out some time ago. But they're recording now so hoepfully soooooon! I personally hope she sticks around for a while.

Yes having gotten into it late i wont have to wait as long for Bloodline,Yes Lela (Susan Sullivan) is wonderful no doubt to meet a nasty demise, though i hope not too soon as i love the actress and Selby together.

Wait...so, do I have a mistake in my placement of "Cobwebs"? I have it right after "Dreaming of the Water", but have I missed about 30 years???

The story ends with him commenting on how it's "almost time for him to wake up" after having pledged himself to his new Mistress, while Angie's laugh plays over the track... setting the scene for Return to Collinwood, where he suddenly becomes active after having been a vegetable for who knows how long.
So, yes, while it starts out appearing as if it's happening right after Dreaming of the Water, that's not actually the case. At least, that's what I took away from the story. If I've got that wrong, someone feel free to correct me.

If I've got that wrong, someone feel free to correct me. Hmmm...interesting. I'll have to give it another listen. Seems when I listened to it the first time I just assumed it took place right after DotW -- but I do seem to recall the "jump-ahead" to the Mistress days and the Angelique laugh.... Maybe someone with inroads to the BF experts can shed light on the actual placement. The BF site simply says "takes place after DotW", but that can be anywhere in a 30 year period, so rather vague. Maybe Robert or Rob, since they're here often....or better still, Aaron Lamont himself. Surely the writer of this brilliant short story can lead me in the right direction! I will look for the Cobwebs thread, and ask there as well.
