Tom, Lalla, Matthew, Four Parters? Here Big Finish take a s..tload of my Lizzie Windsors, here's a couple pints of my blood & have my first born (you ain't a father though Simon). Made my day this has, i was feeling utter crap with my depression nice have bit good news. I've been waiting for E-Space stories set during season 18 since Matthew came back as Adric. So much to explore and no chance of using old enemies unless there's a new CVE. 2020 can't come soon enough. And they can’t use Alzarius as that’s been done in Mistfall pity would have loved more with the Thariks and Gundans but the stories will be set before Warriors gate

His Short Trips are nothing short of magnificent. I can highly recommend both. Have heard none of the short trips at all You've got such treats in store! They're like the Dark Shadows short stories, except that they're download only (The Jago & Litefoot Reunion was released with Jago & Litefoot Forever). However they are attractively priced at $2.99 each. There are a couple of free ones, winning submissions of the Paul Spragg Memorial Oppportunity. The past couple of years have really experimented with the format. Matthew has read two so far, the award winning A Full Life and The Ingenious Gentleman Adric of Alzarius. All the releases are self-contained while some do share narrative strands, such as Damascus and The World Beyond the Trees.

Eventually get around to them continuing with DS,Omega Factor and restarting Survivors now If you admire the talents of Matthew Waterhouse, dipping into the ones he's read can't hurt for the moment. They're half an hour each and come with the isolated music suite by Rob Harvey.

I will after I stop playing catch up 👍 I'll sweeten the pot further. Joseph Lidster wrote the award winning A Full Life. For $2.99 and 82.95 MB you could be listening to it within the hour. And yes, my cheque is in the mail. Knowing NZ post it'll be Christmas by the time I receive it.

All I'm gonna say, if we're gonna get January and February releases, we need July and August releases so we can keep the Fourth Doctor momentum moving

(I liked the concept of {Spoiler} the Tardis' original owner/pilot being trapped inside and so on but for me the execution was abysmal.)

To be honest, I liked the fact it was different. It didn’t have Daleks, Sontarans or Zygons or any other bit of nostalgia that is so frequent in the Fourth Doctor Adventures (strange given that era did it so little!), nor did I feel it was rushed.

Always pleased with news of more Fourth Doctor.
I am surprised by the release pattern. I really did think next year would be a one-off, but proof, if proof was needed, that I know nothing!
Also surprised by all the stories being four parters. I would have liked them to use the boxset format to have different lengths, but I guess that wouldn’t work with marketing these as separate downloads. Just another sign of Big Finish pandering to the young download only market*
However all will be forgiven if they reproduce that lovely picture of all four of them together (I don’t care/I’m not listening) in one of the booklets.
*Just for confirmation sake, yes that was my idea of a joke.

I don’t know squat about Photoshop. The image is photoshopped? I was so hoping it was all of them together in the studio. Disappointing. I’m still all over it but yeah, sigh.

Yeah there’s an obvious split between Matthew and Lalla where the lighting is different between the two pics. Oh well, we can pretend, right?

It would certainly appear that Big Finish is asking us to pretend by giving that image.

I am super happy we are getting full cast ESpace stories. It is another of those wishes that one always thought would never happen in a million years.
I assume BF is having to work extra hard to sort these out due to conflicts with some of the cast, but I am glad they are willing to do so and that the actors are game.
This is going to be a real treat. Thanks Big Finish.
