This is a well done drama, considering the Doctor isn’t in the first episode it is so well done that you do not notice till he appears in the end in a very seventh Doctor style. Listened to it a great many times and always enjoy it

This is one I need to re-listen to at some point. I felt like I missed a lot on the first listen-through.

Just finished this one. Yes it is very good, and the atmosphere is top notch. I also like the 7th Doctor as mysterious figure in there. The first cliffhanger was great!
Sadly the ending is a bit weaker, the whole "failed military experiment" has just been done too many times. I think this is why I liked "Night Thoughts" (which has a similar atmosphere) better, since the phenomenon is never completely explained and the ending is left kind of open, which is much more scary than using "fear eating creature number 239" as explanation... but that is just my thoughts.

At least you gave it a shot and the cliffhanger is one of the favourites...so 7

Listened to this last week. The voice of the other female soldier (not Sally Morgan) kept reminding me of Kathy Burke as Perry in Kevin & Perry

Really enjoy this one. The Lovecraftian Gods are the aspect of Seven's life I love the most.

There is a lot here that owes more than a bit ot the likes of Ghost Light and Night Thoughts. However, I think it does enough, and is effective enough, to stand apart from them as its own thing. Has great atmosphere and once the Doctor shows up, it picks up momentum quick.

Listened to it a great many times and always enjoy it I find myself once more agreeing with this guy😂😂😉...I had a listen to this last night and it still remains in my top ten stories.I love the Doctors absence in it for the whole first half and love his entrance.Ok it does follow a sci if trend but the whole audioscape is pretty chilling and atmospheric. The foe from the Time Lord Legends ,so many foes ,but it’s an effective one all the supporting cast are distinctive and there is a blend of brown jacket/white jacket 7th Doctor and it is also set during the white/black Tardis set.The twist is effective and I have to say episode one is so effectively done in my opinion .I never get bored with the story a bit like my all time Fave at moment of ITERATIONS OF I....I wonder if anything will ever knock it off it’s throne

is it really that long since I listened to this 😂😜😉? I love this story it’s fantastic opening minutes just sucks me in all ready to meet the Master of the house at everything about the opening episode is so 7 dark mysterious . it’s one of those ones that I love as I am just getting ready for bed.Timothy West is superb as are all the cast and it evokes wonderful macabre images in my imagination.Yet another tale of 7 without a regular companion and I suppose I think his entry into the story is So Sylvester. It’s right up there in the top 10 alongside Magic Mousetrap and Night Thoughts
