{Spoiler} He did seem a bit chirpier, presumably Benny deliberately recruited him from a happier point of his life having seen how bleak things were getting by the time of Lies in Ruins. Speaking of Benny's recruitment, is anyone else dying to see that boxset? A one off 3 discs with 30 minute episodes of Benny pulling the Doctors to help fix this mess? Instant buy.

I dunno where all this happiness and squee stuff over a few Doctors meeting at the end of one story comes from... twenty years of Doctor Who at Big Finish and no Daleks?! It's a bit of an outrage really, especially as Big Finish's first spin-off range was Dalek Empire! So no, it's not all blue skies and fluffy kittens... an injustice has been perpetrated yet I see no storm on Twitter over this? I am totally disgusted... Apart from no Daleks I suppose it was quite good though...

Apologies if this was already posted, but does anyone have any inside info if The Legacy of Time will get individual releases for each story? I bought the limited edition set, but would rather not open it until I knew for sure.

Just thinking but did it seem to others that {Spoiler} 8 in collision Course might have been from before Lies in Ruins? Yeah, must be. {Spoiler} Nobody could seriously consider using that crying broken wreck of a man for anything and it would not have been fun, either. This is actually another thing that slightly annoyed me in the last episode- that suddenly, the 8th Doctor is his old happy self again. It just came a bit out of nowhere. Well, we've seen McGann even after that broken wreck, in Night Of The Doctor, and he's relatively chipper there - making quips to Cass, ready to rescue her with a nod and a wink. Maybe he just put on a brave face...but he seems to get pretty much back to the Doctor-y 8th Doc we know and love right before Karn and Cass finally make him give in and roll with the Time War punches.

There will definitely not be individual releases for each story. It is *possible*, but unlikely, that they could reissue it in standard packaging later on if the limited edition sells out.

I don’t think there’s been confirmation one way or another, but I would suspect not. To me this feels very much like a The Last Adventure-/Fifth Doctor Box Set-/Worlds of-type release.

I could imagine a standard edition, without the behind the scenes discs, being released. But no.

So we’re thinking safe to open then? Collection wise and all?

The 'Dalek Interrogator Prime' is an original Big Finish villain... and even good enough for a toy to be made of him! So why did that cool blue dude not get a look in eh? I can only assume it's down to some kind of discrimination. I think the only option is for an online petition to be started to get 'The Legacy of Time' box set remade... this time with Daleks!!!

Finally got round to opening the limited edition. It’s unnecessarily big and I think it’s quite cheap actually. I don’t even know where I’ll put it, it’s twice the height of a CD case and considerably taller than the other limited edition sets, which just fitted on a normal DVD shelf.
The previous limited editions were all great, and the recent Tenth Doctor one got it spot on, so I don’t understand why this couldn’t have been in the same vein. Sure, it has more discs, but you just need to add three more pages to compensate.
It’s got none of the qualities that made the previous sets nice collectors items. A shame.

In fact, I can't understand why it's taking so long for a Dalek Empire: The Time War range to be released, it should be here already ... and I'm being serious!

Yeah, I wasn’t getting my hopes up after seeing the pack shot, but compared to the previous Limited Editions, it’s really lacking unfortunately, especially following the incredible Tenth Doctor 3 set. It’s still nice to have, but I was expecting more from it, considering it was such a landmark release.

Why change the design for something so radically different and that gives the collector less!? Plus something that looks so out of place compared to all the other special book-sets. The audio adventures are brilliant - showcasing the talent of Big Finish and a celebration of their achievements. Such a shame the package lets the contents down.
