With the Evelyn listen through wrapping up next week, there's one outstanding story from that run, A Death in the Family. Since that's a story very heavily tied into the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Hex arc, that's what I believe will make the next listen through idea.
There are 23 Main Range stories with Hex released so far. Like the Evelyn listen through, doing two a week seems a fair pace. There's another aspect I'd like to get some feedback on. A Death in the Family marks a natural conclusion to Hex's main character arc, just as Gods and Monsters is another natural jumping off point. Do you want to go through all the Main Range stories with Hex, or just up to Death in the Family or Gods and Monsters? Death in the Family is Hex's 14th Main Range story, while Gods and Monsters is his 18th appearance (add the Shadow Planet/World Apart double bill release, which was released after these stories, but chronologically take place before). Shadow Planet/World Apart could be slotted in between Forty Five and The Magic Mousetrap, their chronological placement. If we go with up to at least Gods and Monsters, add in the Companion Chronicle tie-in Project: Nirvana as a bonus? We can do the whole run through, with people are free to drop in or out depending on what stories they have, like or have the funds for.
The Veiled Leopard was covered in the Erimem listen through.
Here's the proposed schedule:
Week 1: 9th/10th June - The Harvest and Dreamtime
Week 2: 16th/17th June - LIVE 34 and Night Thoughts
Week 3: 23rd/24th June - The Settling and No Man's Land (ooh, a war theme)
Week 4: 30th June/1st July - Nocturne and The Dark Husband
Week 5: 7th/8th July - Forty Five and The Magic Mousetrap
Week 6: 14th/15th July - Enemy of the Daleks and The Angel of Scutari
Week 7: 21st/22nd July - Project: Destiny, A Death in the Family and Lurkers at Sunlight's Edge (Extra credit story Robophobia)
Week 8: 28th/29th July - Protect and Survive and Black and White (Extra credit story The Doomsday Quatrain)
