I was just planning to drop in to wish the good Doctor a 🎂🎁🎉Happy 60th Birthday🎂🎁🎉, and to say to the rest of you that however you choose to mark the occasion.. enjoy the day. Oh, and course looking forward to the next three weeks. But seeing as I have just discovered that a long lost wanderer has returned to the forum I will add a hale and hearty "Welcome Back!" and cast it towards number13You've been missed on these pages. We'll discuss how much at the board of inquiry next month, along with a chat about your dereliction of forum duty and you being absent without leaving a post for almost two and half years...🤪

He said I'd be back in no time at all.
'Ah, the Doctor, of course. Well, that explains it. Carry on number13.'
Sir! And thanks for the welcome back, Sir. Do I get a party in the mess?
'Don't push it number13.'

I appear to have bought Schroedinger's Thermos Flask.
The label on the outside says: 'Dishwasher Safe'.
The leaflet placed inside it says: 'Handwash Only: This product is not dishwasher safe'.
So obviously, I've put it in the dishwasher and will find out whether the flask is alive or dead when I open the box.

'Miaow!'
Yes, the flask is dishwasher safe. The experimental method works again. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/6343532/images/IwGTjEvWiMqDCgEk5m52.gif)

Hello again…
Just dropping in to say Happy Doctor Who Day to all forum members past and present. I hope everyone is enjoying the cornucopia of Dr Who material available and with you I’m looking forward to the anniversary specials and season 40 next year.
It only seems like yesterday I was reading the Radio Times Twentieth anniversary special. My ten year old self decided that I was definitely going to be a fan. I proceeded to subscribe to Doctor Who monthly and would proudly tell my allegiance to the show to all and sundry. Much to my the embarrassment of my family!
Fans like us can look back over our lives and see the times when this funny little programme has inspired us to create stories of our own, told us things about the outside world, made us laugh and cry and even comforted us when things haven’t been going well and we feel no one out there understands us.
Dr Who celebrates creativity, compassion, collaboration and above all community. We mustn’t let the toxicity of certain areas of fandom spoil our enjoyment. Dr Who fans are funny, generous, intelligent and caring. Avoid the negativity Daleks and spend time with those who truly embody the spirit of the show. I hope the forum continues to maintain its core aim: to be a safe place for all fans of the show.
Happy Thanksgiving to all forum members in the United States too.
All my very best to everyone, Tony.

What's made my day... Beating Mark687 to post a couple of news updates.
What's not made my day... Spending the rest of the day hoping Mark687 is okay, because it's not like him to skip posting.

It's 1am now, just got home from a concert- the Australian Alice Cooper Tribute Show.. they played a whopping 31 songs in just over 2 1/2 hours...
1 of the songs was dedicated to me because it's a fair dinkum doozy (My Stars - a great Apocalyptic - End of the world vibe song).
Brother works with someone in the band and we all became friends.

Good Job Regards mark687 I didn't think anything of it last night as you're up early every day then you liked a FB post of mine this morning, so I wasn't TOO worried. BUT - if a new range or something is announced and you DON'T post about it??? I'm calling ALL the emergency services and calling in the CIA, Interpol, UNIT and Torcwhood!

There are these pet portrait websites where one can send a picture of their animal and they make an artwork out of it. There are tons of different styles, you can have a Disney cartoon, a classic painting, graffiti or even cubist. Since it was 30% off last week, I thought I try it out.
They had not done any fish before (it is mainly done for dogs and cats) but I thought I try it anyways and there is always room for more color in my living room. I had a great picture of my new boy, and they did a really good job on it. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted.
The company also was very happy, and asked me if they can put my fish up on their website as advertisement, since it was such an unusual request. So now Angron is also a poster-boy for this animal portrait website.
Made my day.

After watching 'The Power of the Doctor' again on Friday, I've spent half the weekend with 'Ra Ra Rasputin' earworming its way around in my head.
'I am the Master and you will singalong with me...'

Absolute huge storms in the Eastern states of Oz at the moment - us in South Australia are copping it - huge thunder cracks and lightning all night - just gone 5:30am and I have to walk through the heavy rain, thunder, lightning with my umbrella to my bus stop.. this should be fun. argh. EDIT: Update: I had to stand on the bus stop seat (It's all metal of course) as the footpath overflowed and flooded up to my ankles. Every entrance to my work site was flooded so I had no choice but to walk through it again, there's about 5-6 big leak spots on all 4 floors here at random spots. A few people are late to work due to restrictions on roads getting into the City. Fun times. I turned my PC off this morning as well as a safety precaution because there was 3 too many massive lightning strikes for my liking. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6343532/images/mW7FMmAyG_vqxkNOJyyh.gif)

About 20 assorted loaves of bread/cheeses/sliced meats (or cold cuts in American speak!) and salads, "All to keep you dry so you don't have to go out in this massive storm". Yumm. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6343532/images/mW7FMmAyG_vqxkNOJyyh.gif)

The School year finishes in the next 2-3 weeks here in Oz. My boy has his primary school end of year concert in about 3 hours time. I know they are going to sing / do an interpretative type dance to a "Lion King" song.. LOLZ There will be a typical Aussie massive BBQ happening too . ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/6343532/images/ZBDvOFPmQgNwxFXLpuoD.gif)

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

So you're absolutely sure I'm back where I first met you, Doctor - and when? Because I've been away longer than I expected... 'My dear number13, of course I'm sure. I am in complete control of the TARDIS at all times.' 'Oh pull the other one Doctor!' 'Well, yes Jo, I admit there have been one or two fascinating diversions! However, in the present instance I am quite certain. I've successfully returned our friend to the Divergent Universe and people will never notice he was gone; in local chronology it's scarcely five minutes after he first wandered into the TARDIS.' 'In that case, I'm very happy you're home, but we're sorry you're leaving - aren't we Doctor?'
Thanks Jo! And thanks to you, Doctor, and I'm very grateful for everything, even if it was a bit - ahh - lively sometimes.'It was our pleasure. Now Jo, if you want to say your good-byes while I give the TARDIS systems a quick check over and then we must be off. I'm sure this universe is a fascinating place but it's not our universe and frankly the old girl wasn't pleased about bringing us back here. The sooner we're away, the better.' 'Okay Doctor, I won't be long. Good-bye number13 - if that really is your name I mean and not like, well, like...' Like someone calling himself 'The Doctor'? 'Yes, exactly like that! It's been fun hasn't it?' Good-bye Jo - and yes, it is my name - in this universe anyway. Fun? Err... in future I think I'd rather hear about your adventures than live them, if you don't mind! But it's been wonderful to meet you, both of you. 'Jo!' 'Coming Doctor! Same here, it's been fab! Take care, bye!' ... ... And there they go... and - I'm back. I hope I'm back. It certainly looks like the Divergent Universe - same landscape, same colours - yes, I think I really am back this time. Time... ah yes, the time. What does it say on the post above me? November. November?! It was spring when I met them - so I've been gone for six months not five minutes! "People will never notice he was gone" oh thanks so much Doctor! November ...
November 2023... Twenty-three?! I've been away for over two years?! He's done it again!
DOCTOR!!! Been meaning to say this: WELCOME BACK!!! Your absence was noticed. Glad you've returned.
