Exactly, despite my faults i never put on a act or tried to be someone I'm not, coming from a family of so called status keep up appearances attitude I'm the one they don't acknowledge is suits me fine as I'd rather be a individual than a robot. My dad family rich, guess what they all fallen out with each other simply because you got this or i ain't got that,my cousin Neil complete snob driving around in a flashy two seater Porsche bragging it can go from 0-60 in 4 seconds or some twaddle asking me why i don't buy a flash car, my reply i don't need drive around in a shiny dick that eats petrol & costs a fortune to run when i can own a Ford Fiesta which is a far more economical car to maintain. So funny dad's family snobs stuck up imbeciles, thank god my nan raised me & instilled morals and values or i could've ended up like them. Despite their failings or because of their failings....they actually have made you a better man mate and that’s what adversity can do...am actually standing at a Police Box in Glasgow thinking.....take me away you clever boy🤪😱 Were individuals my friend, we have imagination & don't feel the need to go with the flow, i helped people in grou therapies talking to people one to one because they'd ome u tome afer hearig my story & asked how do i battle through it. I always say accept who you are, acknowledge your limitations & try to be the best you can be, it's very easy to hurt someone it's harder to stop listen & help.

Am very much the same ....it’s nice to be liked but it shouldn’t be the end of things and somethings you cannot sacrifice like your integrity. Nowt wrong with a Ford mate, my 2004 Focus Ghia (126k on the clock) is the most agile and reliable thing I've ever driven, and I've previously had a BMW (lowered fly-boy car, was always in the garage with stupidly high repair bills as it couldn't handle pot holes and speed bumps)

Work this last week is a Not.
The Owner has no idea what the hell he's doing i swear. He just arbitrarily cut peoples hours back once The Manager had done the rotas before she went on holiday. He was saying hours were being wasted by having so many people on and on the length of shift they were doing.
So we ended up getting slammed on those times because we didnt have the right amount of staff on and hours were "wasted" anyway because the people who were on had to stay longer to get everything done. So they extra time they and i worked could have gone to the people he told not to come in and everything would have been easier
What's made my day is being able to get on here again, if only for a few minutes to let everyone know Im okay, work has been going well beside what i mentioned. Missing you all. Hope you are all doing okay

Last Sunday me cousin asked "you getting Avengers PS4 we could team up do multiplayer quests".
"No not fan grinding MMO games"
Tuesday. Cousin. "Sure you don't want join me on Avengers it's good game, we could team up".
Me. "Not fussed i prefer single player games"
Cousin. "Your niece said she love see her dad & the gaming legendary uncle play Avengers online together".
Me "Ok".
I'm very easily persuaded & to be fair the games actually good, it getting lot unfair criticism but this is a game that will add new characters & content & a lot gliches have already been patched.
So far I'm enjoying it & great online game with my cousin.

This weekend I've been camping with my Network Scout group (we were originally running our annual 'Theme Park Camp', where we take a couple of hundred explorers to Thorpe Park but, well, Covid...), so took some time to help garden and 'clear up' our usual campsite.
Whilst I had a good time (of course I did, I haven't some of them in a fair while for obvious reasons), at the moment I'm very, very, worn out... 'Currently watching a bit of Youtube before jumping in the bath.

'Currently watching a bit of Youtube before jumping in the bath. Enjoy what probably is. Well deserved soak I certainly did, thank you. Whilst I won't say that I did the most out of everyone, it was still a lot of hard work ferrying endless wheelbarrows worth of soil or clearing out nettles (I have a lovely blister at the base of my right middle-finger). Fun, it was fun... (If it weren't for the fact that I normally weekends, I'd happily do it again sometime ). This evening I'm planning on having an early(ier) night. 'Last episode of 'Strike: Lethal White' as it airs on TV, maybe a bit of 'Ghostlight' & reading, and yeah, getting into bed for about might... Fun fun

Had a wonderful day chatting with a friend and climbing rocks. Her university results haven't come back yet, but I'm keeping quietly, yet persistently optimistic.
Also, in between engagements for Divergent Wordsmiths, I've somehow managed to break through the first 10,000 words of the next Six/Peri/Frobisher novel? It's dat bird, I tells ya...

Looks like I can keep on running regularly.
Late last year, I got some kind of stress injury to my right metatarsel. Was limping around. Had to take a break from running. When I started up again, I soon developed something just like it in the left side of my left foot, whatever that particular bone is called.
I could run, but any time I ran I'd feel a stabbing pain for days when pressure was put on the foot. So I shifted over to more weightlifting and use of the rowing machine in my basement. For a few weeks now, I've been back at the regular runs and my feet seem to have remained healed, so that's good.

Sick to death of hearing about covid 19 24/7, i get it don't have keep repeating the same old sh.t every hour, thankfully the news David Tennant doing a Dalek Universe series & there's a Fourth Doctor prequel with Tom Baker made my day.
