I officially have less than two weeks left at my job - next Friday will be my last day. I’m planning on taking a few months off to just rest and recuperate before I start looking for the next job, but even just having the end so plainly in sight is a bit of a relief. Things have been changing at work admittedly. I’m part of a large amount of turnover actually - one of my coworkers is leaving the week after me and then another of my coworkers is leaving the week after that. Last week someone who was planning on leaving later this year had to quit immediately due to personal reasons and it was also the last week for another coworker that I didn’t really like as well. They also moved that coworker in the morning that’s been lackluster for me to fill the latter guy’s position - I think it’ll end up causing more problems in the long run and a lot of headaches, but at least his hours will be different so I won’t have to put up with him all day. Plus, I’m not going to be around much longer anyways, so I’ll just power through it as best I can. It’s a bit scary deciding to do this, just taking a break, with how work culture and health care works in the U.S. but I just can’t stay where I’m at now any longer. Not just my job even - this state and this town too. I know once it’s all in the rear view window at the end of next week, I’ll start to feel better. Anyways, that’s made my day. If all these employers are leaving why isn't this company investigating why? I mean if it was my company & was noticing so many are leaving I'd want find out why that's happening. Anyway good on you my friend life's to short to be stuck in a job you don't enjoy. I hope your next job is more forfilling & stress free.

Its 7:20pm Wed night.. Thor 4 has been out at the cinemas since the 1st session this morning.. I just came back from a quick drive down the road to the major chain cinema..I locked in the popcorn tin/soft drink bottle mug meal deal for my physical batcave collection.. It's a jumbo sized metal tin with the 2 thors and their 2 weapons plus a large drink with the same, 2 Thors etc. I won't see the movie for at least another week or so. Lock in and solidify the physical merch b4 they $ell out- watching the movie is secondary (although it is end of school term as of this Friday.. DOH) Timelord007 check your email for pics of the goods.!

Bored sh.tless with Marvel tbh at least DC mix things up, The Batman my favourite film of 2022 so far.

I have read full spoilers for the movie - so like Ragnarok.. the jokey comedy bits are full on, the serious/dramatic bits are serious and dramatic. That's sort of like all of Taiki's movies/tv shows etc..

I think he the wrong director for this franchise, Thor should be LOTR epic not this campy silly tone. Like I said I'm bored of Marvel.

I got my first shingles vaccine shot yesterday and it knocked me out. Slept for pretty much 14 hours but woke up feeling great. Shingles isn’t something anyone wants to mess with.

Oh shingles is not fun. I managed to get it in my early teens, which a doctor claimed was unusual and theorised was due to stress (not that this theory helped me much, but good to know I guess).

My Gran described it as feeling like her skin was on fire from the inside. No thank you.

I know it is rude to laugh about other people's tragedy's.... but this is actually pretty hilarious.

VERY excited.... tomorrow I start my journey! Tomorrow lunchtime I will catch the train to Germany's biggest airport, and Monday at 7 am, my flight takes off to Cabo Verde. As you might have heard, airports in Europe are completely out of order and not able to handle the many tourists. They have released too many people during COVID, and now waiting times in queues at airports are up to 8 (!!!) hours. I take a hotel at the airport and have checked in online, so I hope if I go there at 4 am in the morning on Monday, I might be able to beat the queues. I have no idea if this works out. Too many people have lost their money and their holiday in the gamble already (summer holiday time) and even our government has threatened the airlines several times. But, that is all part of an adventure. I have not had one of these (at least, a real one!) for 4 years. Have not been on holiday for more than 4 years. So I thought I do something cool and get back into Scuba Diving. In Juli, at Cabo Verde, the sea turtles are there, as well as the whale sharks and the manta rays. That alone sounds awesome. I booked a super online special with the diving school near my hotel, got a great bargain, and just CANNOT wait! It has been too long since I dived at a real reef. And the reef here is just 15mins from shore, so even I will hopefully be able to avoid sea sickness. But before I dive into the ocean, I first will have to beat the travel chaos in Germany- chaos in the train system that is even less reliable and punctual as it has been in years, too full crowded trains and the absolute media hyped chaos at the airport.
A real adventure.

Be certain I will. I will try to do pure relaxation. Scuba Diving and reading and audios. Packed my kindle and a couple of physical books. loaded some BF. The 9th Doctor sets so far, the last 2 War Master releases, Peladon and of course it is finally time for the Jago and Litefoot audiobook. That will keep me entertained.
