Ginger jam that my husband bought back from one of his trips - on a whole wheat matzah. The hotel he was staying at in Wales had little bottles of rhubarb-ginger jam at breakfast and he knows I love rhubarb-ginger, but the jar was too big to fly back with in his carry-on suitcase. So he went went to look for it in the duty-free shop on the way home, but they only had Harrod's ginger jam. No rhubarb-ginger, sadly. Ginger is good, but not as good as rhubarb-ginger.

A couple of bananas and plenty of water. Been on the exercise bike trying to work off the chocolate I'd been eating today (worked off a pop tart and a kit kit crunchy, still need to get rid of one last kit kat).

Lions miget gems. I have loved these sweets since childhood but haven't had any for about 16 years until my wife found a local shop that still sells them and the kids bought me some for my birthday. They stick to and rot your teeth... But I still love them. Cheers Tony

Various left-overs and lunches I prepared in advance:
1. Squid ink noodles w/ grilled shrimp and sauteed tomatoes, garlic, olives. No sauce, just olive oil.
2. Left over steak turned into steak fried rice w/ beans, bell peppers, habenero, ghost chili, onion, mushroom.
3. Cotechino sausage cut into bits, sauteed w/ onions, mushrooms, thai chilis, then put over whole wheat rotini al dente.
I was hungry.

Last night: pan-seared salmon left ever so slightly undercooked in the center and pan-seared zucchini.
Breakfast: Leftovers from #2 and #3 above.
Think lunch will be a plate of various raw veggies and fruit - carrots, blueberries, blackberries, apples, tomatoes, pickles - followed by a whey protein shake.

I've become fond of a refreshing drink which, as far as I know, I invented.
It's half carrot juice and half ginger beer.
I decided to call it: "The Two Doctors", though "The Two Bakers" could do as well.

It's mango season! That last thing I ate was a sweet, delicious mango from my tree in the backyard.
