All that on 2 discs? There won't be any special features on that then, the compression would be atrocious to port everything from the standalones onto two discs. Even if they go bare-bones it'll be pretty poor compression. OK for a budget conscious buy, but not for anyone wanting good quality with the special features. That set being DVD only, seems the US just aren't going to get blurays of the animations from Power, Shada or Macra. If anyone is only wanting Dreamland and Infinite Quest, there's a German bluray so you can get HD quality rather than SD. www.blu-ray.com/movies/Doctor-Who-Animated-Double-Feature-Blu-ray/223951/

Dreamland is definitely HD from the reviews I've read from buyers. Infinite Quest I've heard may be an upscale. Neither one of them - certainly at 26 Euros - is anything I'm interested in even if it was 4K much less HD.

This animation set seems to more or less match those region 1 *value priced* 9th + 10th, 11th and 12th Doctor "collection" sets that were released at the end of last year - they're economical options for a less demanding (or late to the trough) consumer.

It's actually really irritating to me that the US isn't getting blu-ray versions of the animations. Hopefully they'll be included in the full season boxsets down the line.
