Well now that this is set in stone, let's take a different tack. In a movie where Pattinson is Bruce Wayne/Batman, who would you all pick to play: • Alfred • James Gordon • Selena Kyle • a Bat-villain of your choice ? Alfred - Timothy Dalton (Bond, Hot Fuzz, Doctor Who). Mid 60s but still fit, can buy that he can play the servant but also that he was a bit of a tasty SAS type 30 years earlier Gordon - Idris Elba (Luther, The Wire, Mandela). 15 years older than Pattinson, about the right gap Gordon should be from Batman and believable as an honest cop in a corrupt system doing his best. Selena Kyle - Awkwafina (Ocean's 8, Crazy Rich Asians). I'd rather not do the male fantasy Catwoman - Awkwafina would be capable, agile, feisty and able to charm her way through trouble.
Batvillain Of My Choice - Michael Keaton as Manbat/Kirk Langstrom. Stunt casting? Yeah but tell me Keaton wouldn't be perfect as the scientist who goes too far and becomes a monster of his own making. This is a BOLD choice and one I am 100% here for.

Good choices Timelord, not sure I want to see Catwoman again so soon and the pairing of her with Penguin seems derivative. There remain a good number of unused villains in the Batman world, but if we are going to have a major character, I’m all for the Riddler.
The casting of Pattinson sounds good, he’s a talented actor from what little I’ve seen of him.

Heard they cast Penguin but actor's name eludes me at minute, i also heard Ben Barnes been cast as Nightwing. I was initially aghast at Pattinsons casting but on reflection i maybe overreacted & I'll give him a chance.

Did Bruce adopt a kid who was older than he was? If anything I think we'll see a young Robin, a la Tom Holland's Spiderman. I'd still think Pattinson is too young for the older Batman who would be taking Dick on.

It's basically a fantasy version of Horror of Fang Rock, and Pattinson's co-starring with Willem Dafoe.
In the meantime, there's also Good Time from last year. Very different from Twilight:

Looks barmy, nuts and gothic as all hell. I'm game.

Well, Nicholson got paid a LOT more than Keaton, Carrey more than Kilmer, Neeson more than Bale and Schwarzenegger more than Clooney so it's maybe not too nuts for the villain to be paid more than Batman's actor, depending on if he was lined up as the main villain or a support role. Hill's had a few Oscar nominations for his dramatic work on top of his pretty big success in comedic films. As long as Eisenberg never got more than Affleck or Cavill - whatever they paid Eisenberg was too much.
