I always say...
Yes I am
Out loud...
Am I the only one?

Hello again.
This totally surprised me the first time I heard it. It made me jump. "You're listening to Big Finish and nothing else matters anymore..." said Nick hypnotically.

"You're listening to a Big Finish production."
I may be too literal-minded but I think it sounds as if he's telling us that HE's a Big Finish Production...
Are all of them 'Big Finish productions'? Is Maidenhead really Mondas-on-Thames?

I do more than skip it, I delete it - at least for the Main Monthly Range... (as part of how I re-work those titles to remove the trailer and music suite and replace the extras with the extended versions when they finally appear)

I think I did do a couple of them. But most of mucking about started when extended extras started up.
Now, over the last couple of years I do change the final end credit music for Five and Seven and sometimes Sixie.

Why bother removing it? It's over in an instant. I just let it play.

I'm doing lots of editing but snipping that out takes less time than listening to it.

Well, it's not like I remove on anything else! I only do it because I already have it open in my sound editing program.

All good!
My choice in this manner is not a vendetta against the phrase (although I do like to hear other voices than Briggsy's saying it... ), and I understand that it is in response to "THIS IS AUDIBLE" and such.
I'm guess I'm just trying to keep my BF DW Main Range MP3 library configured the same - 4 DW episodes, then the longest-length extras available - and nothing else, in one single MP3 file.

I actually don't mind the phrase at all. Though I remember people complained when it first came up. I'm not really sure what the big deal is.

Hello again.
It is really a subliminal message telling all listeners to keep buying more Big Finish titles! No really, I only wear my tinfoil hat on weekdays now. The conspiracy is real!
Oh no, they sent a Dalek after me gotta dash..

My reaction varies - anything from "Hey, I got one right!" to "Well of course I'm listening to a Big Finish production, what else would I be listening to?" :-)
I think I actually like the intro for both having become accustomed to it, and for knowing it may help Big Finish get their name out there where it belongs. Even if I didn't like it though I don't think I'd complain, lasts all of two or three seconds. (I actually have much more trouble with some of the theme music blaring on some of the older New Series boxsets like Unit or River Song but I think that might have been improving lately?)
