So this may be an odd question but I'm curious. The production details for Nightmare Country show that it was recored "28 March 2018 and 15-16 January 2019". So....usually with split productions like this it is due to a particular cast member only being available. Would it be anyone in the main cast or is there perhaps a secret sneaky cameo character we could expect? (For example, I recall there being a very large gap for Nightshade, which I can only assume was for the purposes of Carole Anne Ford's cameo).
Perhaps because Mark Strickson is based in New Zealand and only records when he is visiting the UK?
Don't see a separate thread for Ultimate Evil and don't really feel like making one. Rating: eh, allright, I guess. It definitely felt like an 80s story, and that's not necessarily a good thing.
For example, manipulation of emotions via gadgetry fine. We've had that. But to call it a "hate gun"? Hate gun. Really? Come on. That's cheesy, as is overdone evil laughter. The story itself wasn't bad but I didn't feel the least bit invested.
Nightmare Country blew this clear out of the water.
