Fall to Earth Jago and Litefoot and Strax The Yes Men The Eleven The Red Lady The Havoc of Empires Criss-Cross Foreshadowing The Locked Room Damaged Goods Requiem for the Rocket Men
These are my favourite DW stories of 2015 so far. There are plenty of others I'd consider good - even great - stories but these are the ones I loved.

Hightlights of the year for me were: The Omega Factor Jago & Litefoot: Series 9 Main Range: The Secret History, Criss Cross & Planet of the Rani All Dark Shadows Damaged Goods The Last Adventure Counter Measures: Series 4 Doom Coalition The Fourths Doctor Advendures: Requiem For The Rocket Men & Death Match
The Low points: The uneven quality of the rest of the Main Range releases The uneven quality of the rest of The Fourth Doctor Adventures The uneven quality of the Novel Adapatations featuring the 4th Doctor & Romana II My apathy towards The Prisoner box set. The closing of the Big Finish Forum The lack of proper Big Finish podcasts
It is the Main Range & Fourth Doctor Adventures that concerns me most and on my end it is telling that I've yet to re-up my subs to both those ranges. Post 200 in the Monthly Range has seen a uptick in enjoyment for me but I'm still on the fence about going in on a sub. The Fourth Doctor series, I don't know. I am not really looking forward to the return of The Conglomerate. I think both ranges need a shake-up behind the scenes.
Anyway, bring on 2016 and all the new goodies

I just finished listening to the Omega Factor, which had languished in my "recent" folder on my MP3 player for months. I thought it was quite good, and if they do another I'll definately get it. I quite liked Dorney's stint behind the microphone on this one as well, and Louise is always great. It was announced awhile back: www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/the-omega-factor-series-02-1368Oh, yeah, thanks for that, I must have missed it or skipped it as I hadn't listened to the first one yet. Preordered now!

Sorry for being dense, which 2015 releases are you referring to in the 2 comments above? (Put the answer in spoiler tags if need be) The Fate of Krelos/Return to Telos and The Well-Mannered War (the novel was the final installment in Virgin's Missing Adventures series - new stories featuring Past Doctors. The ending itself is symbolic of the state Virgin Books were left in by the BBC - in which in light of the anticipated success of the TV movie and success of the novels, the BBC decided to rather uncermeniously let Virgin's licencise expire with little notice -a further missing adventure the reader will sadly never experience. Except we will! In 2017!) . Cheers Michael, should have known both of those as I own them

It's been all but said, pretty much. Big Finish announced back in Mach that series six of The Fourth Doctor Adventures that some of the stories would be set between The Lesiure Hive and Meglos and some before Full Circle, making it pretty explict to readers of the novel that's where the followup tale would occur without spoiling the cliffhanger for newcommers.

Erm - Well Mannered War takes place Shada and the Leisure Hive.

ive enjoyed BF WHO more than TV WHO for the 6th year in a row... Same here. Not to rain on the reboot too much, but it is extremely rare that I cringe through a BF episode. Actually I'm not sure I ever cringed through an entire episode. Pretty much all the time, my biggest complain is "that was good, but could be better" which isn't much of a complaint in my mind. And the best ones blow everything else out of the water. (ie, while I thought that Under the Lake/Before the Flood was an outstanding reboot episode, I think my favorite BF releases surpass it. Ditto from original series releases.)

I just assumed from the phrasing meant that the first story would be a follow up from The Well-Mannered War. I am wrong - also intrigued!

For me, the highlights of this year are all the nuWho ranges announced, and also having a main range subscription for the first time, so being able to listen to the newest stories as well as working my way through the first 50 and picking up other stories as they come up on special

I hope that Big Finish will give us a story (or stories) set between The Well Mannered War and The Leisure Hive, resolving that cliffhanger and giving us an explanation as to why the Doctor starts to wear Question Marks. Personally I think they are his "Remembrance Poppy"

The highlight for me was making the Doctor Who ranges easy jumping on points. An on-going story arc was finally put to rest and I look forward to this approach continuing for a while.
Dark Shadows is the best part of this year. Bloodlust is simply phenomenal, and the dramatic readings that followed continued the high quality of the range.

ive enjoyed BF WHO more than TV WHO for the 6th year in a row... As good - as great - as BF can be, in all the years the show has been back, there's never been a season of New Who I've felt was inferior to the BF output that year. Hooray for TV Doctor Who.
