Probably said this before, but having Bilis Manger encounter any one of the Doctors. If only to see the marvellous Murray Melvin play off them. Seven's 'charming with just a hint of sinister manipulator' meets Billis' 'sinister manipulator with a hint of charming'. Neither will display their full hand until it's too late to stop their convoluted schemes and either will happily put you into dangerous & testing situations if it helps the success of his plan.
The difference is of course motive, plus Seven will at least try to keep you alive at the end of it all without it being on a whim...
I'd love a story where both are independently working to the same end for different reasons... cue moral dilemma for Ace when she finds out...

Tbh, I'd prefer if it was someone else, we've already exhausted the 'Ace finds out Seven is manipulating her and she gets angry' trope. Although her being manipulated by Billis while thinking it's the Doctor would be a nice subversion of expectations for both her and us. And her thinking it was the Doctor was part of Billis' plan too lol.

I'd say Raine would be perfect for this. A thief being hired by two people to steal the same item for different reasons

This would only work if Jenna Coleman agreed to do Big Finish but I think a Clara/Missy bodyswap story could be interesting😀 alternately if Clara or Missy bodyswapped with 12 for a story that would be amazing too😄

An epic audio drama that reveals towards the end to be the origin of the Doctor’s hatred of pears🍐

An epic audio drama that reveals towards the end to be the origin of the Doctor’s hatred of pears🍐 Yes! I think Paul Cornell never explained that one... I don't think it is in the original book.

I wonder if the Doctor’s hatred of pears stem from something more than just finding them annoying? Maybe the Doctor is allergic to them, or nearly got poisoned, or got held hostage by evil pear people or a would be companion got killed by them🍐🤔

I'm pretty sure it is.

I'm pretty sure it is. didn’t 7 say it had something to do with the after taste? I still feel like there is something more to it than that after all the Doctor lies....

I'm pretty sure it is. Sorry, my wording. Yes, I know the dislike for pears is in the book, but apart from the aftertaste, we do not get a "deeper" reason for the dislike. Or am I wrong? I do not have the book at hand right now.

I remember it being something to do with the aftertaste. I do not remember it having to do with anything about the Doctor lying, not sure you brought that in?

Does it matter what the deeper reason is? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I almost feel this idea is more inevitable than most but I would like to see Torchwood and UNIT come to blows or co operate in a story in the future.
Even though it would be equally as good to see Kate Stewart, Osgood and co involved considering Captain Jack’s status as a time traveller it would be interesting to see how the Torchwood of the ‘70s would have fared against UNIT led by the Brigadier. If only to see he and Captain Jack interact.

Had another thought. An adventure with a young Wilfred Mott taking place either in his childhood or during his tenure as a soldier in Palestine at the end of the mandate.
Naturally, you’d either have to erase his memory or figure out a way for Wilfred not to remember the Doctor.

A story where Clara, River, and Rose meet and have to work together to rescue the Doctor. They would bicker at first about which one means the most to the Doctor but then start to bond and realize that they have more in common than they think😀

A story where two incarnations of the Doctor swap bodies, Particularly if those incarnations are polar opposites of each other 😄

I'm still waiting for Matt Smith and/or Peter Capaldi to decide they have time to record some stories here and there.
