I just have finished re-listening to Cradle of the Snake. Amazing performances. And Peter Davison is just awesome as a villain. Now in the extras, Barnaby Edwards is saying: "Peter Davison would be great if cast as the Master." Honestly, why has this not happened yet? Swapping minds seems to be one of the latest hobbies of the Master. Let him indulge a bit more. Yes! He can really do a strong villainous performance.!
Love that you had a re listen it's a great follow up story.. We actually get some "behind the main TARDIS room" action too, in the companion's personal living quarters. Infinite rooms in the TARDIS lets explore some more.

Just to continue with the Christmas Master…the War Master does have a release planned for December called Rogue Encounters.
Granted it doesn’t sound festive, but you never know.
Perhaps it will take inspiration from A Christmas Carol and the War Master will encounter Doctors Past, Present and Future all at Christmas…

Now that Warner has passed and the Early Adventures have finished, my fantasy releases are much simpler these days:
- Another 4th Doctor Lost Story with Leela - Another 4th Doctor Lost Story with Romana - Another 5th Doctor Lost Story without Culshaw playing the Master or Kamelion - Pinacotheca by Christopher H Bidmead

After rekindling my love of Jago and Litefoot following a few purchases of their later series last week, my current fantasy release would be a Jago and Litefoot book series.
The covers of series 1, 6-13 all resemble old books so the covers make themselves. Just a simple emblem on a plain cover with a gold border and the name of the book.
They could be anything from 1st person stories (as if they were books written by Litefoot as mentioned in series 5), to third person and merely offering adventures in between series such as more adventures set in the 1960s.

I would love a physical set of hardback books like Big Finish have recently done with Blake’s Seven. Unfortunately BF have stated several times that they don’t have a license for such things with Doctor Who. I did hope, following the release of their final boxset as audiobooks, we might get to hear more of their missing adventures on narrated audiobook. But as time passes I find that hope fading…

An adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s “Something Wicked This Way Comes” is definitely near the top of my list.
But who to play Mr Dark? I’d be keen to see what Peter Davison would make of the role to be honest.
