The music panel has been the best all day for me. Seeing Blair Mowat geeking out over the Radiophonic Workshop effects and Peter Howell.

Paul seems to love BF more than ever, honestly. Alex Kingston's just lovely too. It's great to hear them looking back over their whole tenure at BF.

If you only catch up with one panel, make it the McGann/Kingston one. Paul is like an uber-fan of River, he's really excited about the character and not in a "luvvie" way. He really loves River. He also says if he could play any other Who role...it'd be Ace!

The possibility of Ten interacting with Leela is very exciting. I don't know if the recent uptick in Tennant's Big Finish recording is the result of the lockdown or if it was already planned, but I'm delighted.
Also, I love McGann and Kingston together. I hope we have lots more Eight and River in the future.
I do wonder if the relatively low key marketing of Four and Ten teaming up in Out of Time is intentional because the announcements for the second and third volumes in that series are going to be high profile.

Davey & I have been chatting about this. Amazing that Out of Time is due this month and it didn't warrant its own segment. Inexpensive disc. Stand alone, I think and featuring probably the two most popular Doctors. They could not put Fitton & David Richardson together and give an preview?

Why on Earth did BF tease "exclusive announcements" when they knew none were forthcoming?

Clearly JHE's nom-de-plume is "Nicholas Briggs" who all along has been totally distinct from "Nick Briggs".

If this doesn't sell gangbusters, they need to get all new PR and marketing people in as it should sell itself. Instead half the chat didn't even know about it when it got brought up that Tom and David had done an audio together. That's not right only weeks out.

I very much would have liked an extended feature on lock down recording. I would have loved a cooking segment with Toby. A segment on cover design or on the making of the video trailers. Also some love for Dark Shadows & Star Cops would have been welcome.

Well the discussions today were generally interesting, and it’s great to see the clear enthusiasm all the contributors have.
But if you were expecting announcements today, that was a disappointment.

Why on Earth did BF tease "exclusive announcements" when they knew none were forthcoming? If you'd told me that at 4pm I'd be miffed. Everything pre-recorded and no announcements bar one that came out early anyway? Instead though, the panels were so uplifting and fun overall that I'm pretty excited just to dig into my backlog now. It wasn't relevatory but it was kinda...cosy. For people who expected and stilll want news, not a great day but hearing Blair geeking out over 60s Who music, McGann gushing over River's character, Nicola Walker be so excited to meet Lou Jameson was enough to make me feel content as a fan. It felt like an old 90s Who con where there was literally nothing new, just poring over what we already had. Nice kinda throwback for me in that way.

Also some love for Dark Shadows & Star Cops would have been welcome. Since it was all pre-recorded anyway, a few more production values would be cool so things like the Dr Who Cookbook or whatever could play a role. But for a first go...I thought it was a damn good one. Anyone else think it'd be nice, especially for our overseas friends, if BF did this every year online even once mass gatherings can happen again? It's nice to be able to have people all over the globe welcome. Maybe a traditional BF Day and a BF Virtual Day could be done?

And I agree, it was lovely and it was a nice gift to fans all over the world. I do really want a Toby cooking segment though.
