Since some people have expressed interest in this years German Who convention. I am going to post this here, so a mod can move it to the calendar.
The convention is on the 10th and 11th of October in Kassel/ Germany. They do have a website, but there is not much on there yet.
They have already made the first few announcements on Social Media- Lisa Greenwood, Michael Jayston and Frazer Hines were announced on Facebook. There will be more announcements every couple of days for the coming fortnight. Colin Baker announced himself, he is not yet official. But I cannot imagine they reject Colin for Timelash 6! Last year's Timelash was the best weekend of my year. It was absolutely lovely, a really nice, cozy and very oldskool convention with around 500 people attending. I loved every minute. There was also a very strong Big Finish presence there since Jason is friends with the organizers.
I will keep the announcements up to date as to which actors are coming and other points of interest.

Hmm, certainly worth considering and I love Germany!! Yeah, there are a few corners that are alright. There are even some of the people who are quite okay. 
Bonus: everybody speaks English, especially all these weird dressed up people at the convention. |

Well, today brought the news that Time Lash IV has been postponed- for one year. It will now take place on the 16th and 17th of October 2021. Frazer Hines and Colin Baker have already confirmed that they are still on board. This is sad news, however, I think it is the only thing they could have done. Our heroes are not getting any younger and they are definitely in the age group most at risk. As long as there is no vaccination and a working strategy to contain this virus, what can you do? This is all very sad. Have I mentioned again recently that I am massively over all this COVID business? So I hope we get a vaccination reasonably soon and that normality will be back by mid- 2021. I am really looking forward to meeting Colin in person. |
