I'd like Jodie to stay past three years, but if Jo Martin is Doctor 14, that is more than fine with me. Just means Jodie will be with Big Finish to expand her era hopefully.
EDIT: Could this mean that Yaz would leave and John Bishop and Jo Martin as the newest Tardis Team?

Whoops. That'll teach me to read the whole thing It could still be true though I guess. Oh well there's always Big Finish lol I guess. I'm waiting for an 'official' announcement, let's put it that way... It'll probably be a fair while yet before she hits Big Finish, but maybe one day?

I’ll just pop in to point out here that the exact same “[current Doctor actor] QUITS” story runs, without fail, right before every new series airs, right after every series ends, and right after every holiday special airs, and the rags have been doing this since Tennant’s first year on the job.
It’s tiresome, it’s not remotely credible, and it will be positively exhausting when it finally happens purely by chance and some folks start going “SEE THEY WERE RIGHT!” when in fact these outlets have been publishing the same trash over and over for 15 years running because it makes for easy and reliable website clicks.

It could be true, but I always take what the tabloids say with a pinch of salt.

The only thing this does is add legitimacy to the rumour, if she was staying why would the BBC not just say so? Oh well, only 8 more episodes with Jodie. & hopefully another festive special where she regenerates into Jo Martin.

They're not allowed to lie, so if it's true the only thing they can say is "No comment". Is that a Catch-22; I'm never sure what that means?

Tbf though, with Tosin’s casting in 61st Street in January, it’s hardly a leap to guess that he was going to be leaving soon, and it’s also not much of a leap to assume Bradley was going with him. Also it’s worth noting that the same journalist said months ago that we were getting Evil of the Daleks and Abominable Snowmen as the next animations and yet we’ve heard nothing about those.

Can we have a series with Ruth? Please? Yes get her as the next Doctor. Agree 100%. Look no further BBC, the next Doctor has already proved she's the one. Just give her the TARDIS key!

Digital Spy got more than a "No Comment" out of the BBC but "We won't be commenting on any speculation around Jodie's future on the show." is still a less than effusive denial.

No surprise to see this rumor. It's as regular a rumor as who'll be the next Bond. I'll take a wait and see approach, however it does once again remind me that I really dislike the unwritten three season rule. It makes it feel like the new Doctor is right out the door as soon as they get going. Instead of actors basing their Who time on Troughton's suggestion, I wish they'd base their run time a little more on Tom Baker's tenure. It's getting to the point that I start to dread the third season of any Doctor. I know it's a hard show to film and I don't expect any actor to stay longer than they want to, but I can't help but wish we had Doctors who had more lengthy eras.
