The person to person transmission rate in NJ has hit .77. That is great! The goal for our state is .5. I hope we can get there.

Update from my workplace :
"The Pandemic Response team are continuing to monitor the situation across Australia and, in particular, SA and the NT. Due to the strong management of the Pandemic within SA and NT, and the continued improvement in our bordering states, with effect from Monday 7th September face masks will no longer be mandatory for staff taking public transport while travelling to and from work. We do encourage staff who wish to wear masks to do so, and we will continue to provide masks to those staff. It is critical to emphasize that the strong management of the Pandemic is a result of not being complacent and that all staff must continue to practice good hygiene and social distancing in accordance with POL 1432.1 Employee Safety During a Pandemic - Recovery, in order to minimize the risk and impact of the virus spreading."
My home state of South Australia, and also Tasmania, are the only states in Australia with no current cases for the last few days/week I believe.
We just gotta keep up with what we are doing.

There won't be a second lockdown because the country can't afford a second lockdown it'll take years to get out this recession.
All we can do is follow the guidlines stay safe & wash our hands.

Same over here. All closely monitored and the testing has ramped up- we now are testing at capacity at our lab. Because school has started again and all the teachers need to be tested, as an example.
It is still not clear if the wedding of my brother in 3 weeks time can go ahead.... no idea if we will be allowed in church at the ceremony....
cannot plan anything....

I just switch the news off now it to depressing. Same here. Not hearing anything else at work and cannot be dealing with it in my free time, too. I truly fear the winter to come. We are already at capacity with our testing, a second wave I have no idea how we could deal with. Plus, I have trouble dealing with the emotional fall-out.... we cannot even hold together as a close family when one of our own gets sick. My brother is at breaking point since he cannot even See his sick daughter in hospital.
