I've heard some very good things about an app called Remini, which might be able to help.

Rather than enhance the photo, I went the route of trying to find a watch company that has or had a name that fits the rough shape of the illegible name here. (One capital letter, the rest lowercase or all-caps in a smaller font, possibly a g or y or other dangly letter at the end.)
I just did a bunch of watch googling (by no means thorough) while I was listening to a stream, and I couldn't find any watch with a company logo that comes close. They were almost universally all-caps in blocky letters. Designed to be more legible for their size, I suppose. I'd suggest trying to match the shape of the watch. It's possible that the Timeless prop crew found a watch that looked 'old enough' at a thrift store and slapped together a generic-brand looking face to put on it to get around name-brand kerfuffels. Or it might have been in something put together for some other film or TV project that ended up in NBC/Universal's costuming warehouse by the time they came looking for that Member's Only jacket.

That's kind, thanks. I've got a lot of the original costumes from the series, inc Wyatt's complete 1980's outfit from that photo. Sadly though the watch is missing. Other watches used in the show are actually not vintage ones, just basic modern versions that have the right look for the era in question. I've searched for months and researched hundreds of watches with no luck. The unique features on this one are the dots used to represent 12 & 6 and the curved 11, 1, 5 and 7 that contour with the shape of the watch face. Trying to figure out the brand would be the key but that's the only high def photo, the watch face, while clear doesn't reveal the name. Remini sadly hasn't helped much as this was the result. It does look like the second letter is a Y

Does any clever person know how to sharpen images? I'm desperate to find out the make of this watch but it's slightly too blurred to make out the manufacturer. Any advice would be really, REALLY appreciated. Something like Remni uses AI to replace blurry aspects of the image with human features (hair, skin, etc). It does not work so well with things like clothing, so users tend to combine facial restorations with manual editing. Essentially it is an image replacement, as opposed to enhancement tool, if that makes sense. As for the Watch, well, Argos are still open in Sainsbury's stores. You may be able to recognise something like it in one of their display cases.

The longer it goes on the more obsessive I'm becoming, it has to be out there somewhere. Some company made it !!

Assuming its a prop, and though the text does not match, it may be based upon one.
