We haven't had one of these in a while, so I thought it might be fun. It can be televised, on audio or elsewhere, what is some of your favourite music from/for Doctor Who? An oldie, but a goodie is Arc Attack's rendition of the series' theme (done on tesla coils in an electroconductive suit): Another is Tristram Cary's soundtrack for Skaro's blasted landscape in The Daleks: And yet another is Dudley Simpson's opening score for episode titles in The Seeds of Death:

I've never been a big fan of Doctor Who's musical offerings. I don't know why. The classic series is full of weird noises and farty synths, while the new series is overly-bombastic orchestral stuff.
The one Mr Polly and I find ourselves humming at times, goofy as it is, is that Cyberman theme from ancient times, as seen in The Moonbase et al.

Seconded on “The Very Model of a Gallifreyian Buccaneer”. So deliciously daft.
Also, Akinola's closing theme from Demons of the Punjab. Such a unique and haunting take on the title theme that perfectly echoes the tragic story it accompanies, while honouring the culture.
