Hey everyone,
So, what do you think we'll see in next year's regular of Doctor Who?

My guess:
Galifery will return mid-season. Perhaps, The Great Vampires will return? There will be all-new Big Bad villian who does not have ties to Galifery or any existing villian and whose origins will remained obscured, until the finale but a definite reoccuring threat in The Doctor's adventures involved or linked to the actions of the antagonist of the week. The new companion will be rather shy and insecure, someone who The Doctor will help to bring out of herself. The series will tease out the possibility of Calpadi's depature from the role. The reprecussions of one episode in this series will be felt in an episode of the second series of Class. Captain Jack will return in a two-part adventure. There will be a traditional two-part finale. The fall of The Dalek Empire?

Good time to bring this one back up. We've done threads on rumours and then teaser thoughts, so now, we can just do one devoted to possible rotues you may or may not like to see.

I'd really like for them to just have a good time and for Pearl Mackie to really shine as Bill.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

There'll be some ok episodes, some brilliant episodes and maybe a couple of clunkers. The fans will protest loudly pro/ against Moffat/ Capaldi, Bill will be heralded as the best/ worst companion ever and the Chibnall backlash will begin, with some starting a "Bring Back Moffat" campaign. The show will be dead to some fans, while others will complain that the incoming Doctor is an inspired/ ridiculous choice.
I can't wait: Series 9 was a joy for me.

Matt Lucas is the thirteenth Doctor, when Capaldi dies, he regenerates into Lucas, who dies at the same time and regenerates into Pearl Mackie.

Now, this is what I think will happen, though not necessarily, what I want to happen.
1 - As soon as Mark Gatiss hinted at a "new" Ice Warrior, I thought - QUEEN.
2 - Since the rumour of Capaldi leaving at the end of episode 12, rather than at Christmas, I feel strongly that the Christmas Special will star a female Doctor. With a regeneration at the end with the actor of Chris Chibnalls choice.
3 - I had originally thought of some kind of body swap episode, where Missys mind takes over the Doctors body, and the Doctors mind is put in Missys body. This could still happen, but inclined to go with the previous prediction.
4 - Bill will die, but only because I feel Chibnall would want his own choice of companion.
5 - Clara will return, to say cheerio to the 12th Doctor.
6 - The Sonic Sunglasses and Electric guitar will return.

- In episode one we will learn that Bill is a lesbian.
- The Emojibots from episode two will be of human origin and belong to a human colony living on a far distant planet. They Emojibots are a form of nostalgia for them to remember the past.
- The Ice Warriors episode will be the Ice Warriors v The Flood on Mars and will also introduce a female Ice Warrior.
- David Suchet will be revealed as the Meddling Monk.
- The Series 10 two part finale will be Missy helping the Gaiman Cybermen change the evolution of the Cybermen by introducing new Cyber technology to older iterations.
- Missy will be in the Christmas Special, alongside the Tenth Planet Cybermen again - either as a loose or strong continuation of the Series 10 finale.

I doubt they will have The Doctor regenerate into a female incarnation, then die straight after. What would be the point? May as well keep her for Chris Chibnall's series, especially if a female Doctor proved popular.

He gave us The War Doctor, which then died straight after, a Doctor that wasn't even necessary to tell the story. He gave us a female Master, and I'm convinced he wants to be the first producer to cast a woman in the part.

The Eighth Doctor didn't regenerate into the War Doctor, then regenerate more or less straight away into the Ninth though. The War Doctor had a long life off-screen.

In screenwriting terms character generally comes first, then the narrative. Story comes from character. You wouldn't have Day of the Doctor without the War Doctor in the same way that there would be no Silence In The Library/Forest of the Dead without River Song.

Yeah, Bill is pretty much confirmed as a lesbian with Heather I believe. The Emojibots will I hope be possessed in a similar way to the Ood and the Vocs, but I think you're definitely right there. Not sure about the Flood part (unless they're a recurring threat. The opener has a creature similar to the flood it would seem). The female Ice Warrior is for certain, though. I wouldn't be surprised, but I'd say it's more likely he isn't. Despite this, it'd be incredible if such a great actor as Suchet could play that character. That makes sense. So does this, but I'm not sure about the Cybermen. I wouldn't be surprised if it related to Gallifrey and Rassilon somehow.

Yeah, the Flood and Tenth Planet Cybermen at Christmas are the predictions I'm not as confident about. The main reason why I think The Flood are in the Ice Warrior episode is that it looked like the Ice Warrior was infected in the video they released when they were announced for Series 10.

Predictions: Episode 1 will be good but not great. It'll feature some kind of Dalek war with the Movellans, but with the wrong Daleks. Bill'll be a lesbian with Heather, I think. Doctor and Nardole are investigating something related to the Daleks. That said this story does seem a bit strange, in terms of the fact that it's set on Earth and Skaro in what I believe is a forty-five minute story. Episode 2 will likely not be highly rated, but I could be wrong. The imagery will be highly rated though. However, some would say that the Emojibots highly date the story. Episode 3 features a snake monster under the sea and won't feature Nardole in a physical appearance (nor will two or four either). However, it might feature a phone call or something. I don't know. They were a bit weird about him being in every story. Episode 4 features wooden monsters linked to Suchet in some manner. Suchet's character will either play a Time-Lord character from Gallifrey akin to Chronotis in Shada or a past villain. Episode 5 will feature Narole and will be somewhat similar to the film "Gravity". Episode 6, 7 and 8 will be linked somehow as they all seem to be set on Earth in the present-day. Episode 9 features Ice Warriors and some kind of time problem. Episode 10 will be about an alien menace threatening an urban zone with savage locals. Episode 11/12 is going to feature the death of one of the companions, if not both. They both have reasons to why they would die. XMAS will have a depressed Doctor and Gallifrey.
