The Doctor investigates several disappearances all of which are tied by the fact that they are regular players of a popular MMORPG.
It turns out the MMORPG is actually the creation of the Celestial Toymaker who has decided to expand his Celestial Toyroom online to ensnare more potential players for his diabolical games.
Those whose avatars fail certain quests or are otherwise defeated are transformed into NPCs to help populate his game world. (Many players naturally presume said new NPCs are merely Easter eggs)
With a new Expansion on the horizon filled with new threats and quests and guaranteed to bring on hundreds of thousands of new players, the Doctor must journey into the game world to defeat the malevolent Mandarin.

Could be rather cringe worthy if done incorrectly but a story which looks into the phenomenon of Elvis impersonators.

A story where there are mirrors everywhere that reveals the Doctor’s true self.

Huh... You know, I don't think there is. It's certainly ripe for it. A tidal wave of ladybirds, sweeping voraciously and unstoppably in their billions across the country, devouring everything in sight. It doesn't sound too far removed from a classic UNIT story. From the Third or Fourth Doctor, I could see either. Given the phenomenon inspired Sarah Jane's outfit for The Hand of Fear, well...

Well, as a kid of 76 I thought it was a great summer, the only really good one in the whole time I was growing up. The reason it's so well remembered (apart from the problems it caused for some parts of the country) is that Britain in the 60s, 70s and 80s had more than a few rubbish summers even by our temperate maritime climate standards; mostly cool, cloudy and unreliably damp. After 76, the next hot summer was 83 (see I still remember them all both ) until a much warmer run of summers began in about 1988/1989.
But just that once in my & my friends' childhoods, we had a real, actual summer when you could get up in the morning and know it would be another day fit for playing outside and eating ice-cream! And it didn't rain until it was time to go back to school, so it didn't matter then. 1976? It was brilliant.

I only heard about this phenomenon because of its connection to Hand of Fear, but I am curious about what caused so many ladybirds (or ladybugs as they say over here in the US)?

A story set on Mount Everest. I’m imagining you could do a very frightening story there considering the amount of frozen corpses that are on that place.

A very intimate story where the Doctor and their companion are alone together with no monsters or bad guys to fight and the entire focus of the story is them exploring their surroundings ( perhaps they are camping somewhere unusual) and bonding with each other, but with an undercurrent of them both being terrified of sharing too much of their feelings and emotions with each other.

On the basis of having a suitable attire for the conditions, the Second Doctor, Jamie & Victoria would not have seemed incongruous in the environment. I get the Fifth Doctors voice in my own head though, for his dryness of delivery and the fact that his Doctor does not undercut the danger of the situation with the sense of unassailability the Fourth Doctor acquired in the Graham Williams era.

I think the Fifth Doctor would be a great fit as well. After discovering the body of one of the many frozen unfortunates I could see Tegan imploring him to perhaps take their bodies back in the TARDIS for a proper burial but the Doctor says that there is too many to count. When Tegan asks why people risk their lives for such an endeavour he grimly remarks ‘Because it’s there.’

This is for BF when they get Capaldi, but a story examining 12’s complex relationship with physical touch with Clara in particular. All throughout his era but especially with Clara there was this underlying theme about his relationship with touch and how he became more comfortable with it over time. It would be really interesting for there to be a story where 12’s relationship with touching (in general and in particular with Clara) and how different kinds of touching makes him feel was examined in depth from his perspective.

From heliotrope hurricane to hearty holiday in one fell flutter. Job done, I reckon. Well done, Doctor.

Not sure what the context this story would be but a story modeled on Raymond Briggs “The Snowman” perhaps with the Doctor temporarily turned into a snowman somehow.

The Doctor goes on a version of Desert Island Discs. If only so we can have a homage to another British institution ticked off the list.

This may have been done in prose or on audio but it's not been done on TV. I thought it would be neat for the Doctor to visit an alternate Earth where the Master is the scientific advisor to UNIT. The Master convinces the Brig that the Doctor is the Time Lord renegade.
I thought perhaps you could mix it up with a third race of "Silurian", perhaps flying intelligent reptiles (considering that we had both land and sea species)?

I don’t think this has been done before! What do you think UNIT would be like with the Master as scientific advisor?
