Bought 2 stragglers that I didn't already own on disc: - Torchwood: Children of Earth (BBC) Blu-ray
- Torchwood: Miracle Day (BBC) Blu-ray
On a DW new series universe related note, SJA (Series 1-4) DVDs are out of print in NTSC format.

Found Steel Skies (one of the BF Short Trips books) for CDN$15 in good condition at a used bookstore. It joins a pair of hardback Telos novellas as the rarest things on my shelf.
First BF book I've ever bought although I did see their script book (the one with Chimes and three other stories IIRC) on sale once. That took some resisting.
Cool bonus, too - Graeme Burk had signed the page with his story on it.

- Short Trips: Companions (Big Finish) #2
- World Game (BBC) PDA #74
Now, I will finally get to read the partial sequel to Players. Season 6B and the return of the Countess...how exciting...

Bought the Tenth Doctor neckties. They're replicas of some of the ties Ten wears in various episodes, including the one he wears in "Day of The Doctor". They're a fun way I can be nerdy at work.

Endgame (DWM 8th Doctor GN) - Been meaning to get this one for ages and ages. My plan is to buy the next instalment when this arrives, then the next when that arrives, and so on until I've got all 4 volumes and the Titan Miniseries. After that, we'll see... Sounds like a good plan. I've already got the Titan miniseries, i think you'll enjoy that

The Witch Hunters, Theatre of War, System Shock and Option Lock for 12 pounds 25p total. But the real steal? Christmas on a Rational Planet and both parts of Interference (each valued at around 20-40 pounds on Amazon), for the low low cost of 6.93 including shipping. I'm a happy Whovian. Amazon Marketplace is hit and miss when it comes to books, I paid about £3 each for the two Interference books, but over £20 for Vampire Science, a few months later the prices had more or less reversed...

He is in his NOTD, but from what i can surmise the Time War hasnt started yet (if that makes sense with it being a Time War lol). We can just assume that he changes into that before it kicks off in earnest

Would you recommend the Titan miniseries?...or any of the 8 Dr comics? (Surprised they haven't announced any War Doctor comics yet...)

Hell i'd recommend his DWM run as well They may be waiting for the BF series to finish before hand, so that they dont cross anything that BF do, since they do seem to stick with continuity from what I've read so far

The comics were firing on all cylinders at that point.

Ordered the Nest Cottage Chronicles on CD listed as new for $38 US - about $100 less than Audible wants for their low-quality, un-mp3-convertible version. (You should know something is wrong with your anti-piracy system when customers who actually paid for a thing are thinking of trying to pirate an mp3 copy of it just so they can take it on a walk...)

While this did make me chuckle, don't you have the audible app? I've found it a very good reliable means of listening to audiobooks on the go. It even lets you sideload titles from your pc so you're not constantly downloading. Alternatively you can burn an Audible title to cd yourself from iTunes.

Picked up the two digitally restored versions of the Peter Cushing movies. Call it Unbound, "Handy" forced to revisit past adventures or something else, they are still Doctor Who . Cheers Tony
