Today i thought I'd give The Eighth Doctor's New Adventures Of Lucie Miller a listen after commenting on Bradley's Basement a while back when he reviewed it, i know i owned a copy i checked with BF & it said you got this but strangely the CD set has disappeared, i searched high & low but i couldn't find it & as I'm OCD i purchase 2 CD copies & have CDs placed in a certain order however that is also missing.
So have i lost the plot or thrown it out by mistake, i never lend CDs or films out or have the Martians took it?
I just wondered if people on hear had something they couldn't find or found something thought missing for years.
I purchased two more today because i honestly have no idea where they have gone?
Very Twilight Zone this.

I once owned an electric guitar I was teaching myself to play. It was bright pink.
I have not seen it in 15 years.
I have not sold it or destroyed it. Nor do I actually remember when it went missing. It simply no longer exists, I guess. I have moved more than once over this period of time, but A) The last time I remember it was well before then, and B) you'd think an entire guitar would be a pretty conspicuous thing to leave behind.
On a similar note, I have an odd story where the missing item turned up almost immediately, but the circumstances have always eluded me. When I was a teenager, my brother and I would rent video games from the local video store because our small town didn't have anywhere to actually buy them new. Anyway, on one such occasion, we were debating what should be the weekend's rental. I picked up my favorite candidate, and made an impassioned speech about why this game in particular was worthy of our $3.50.
As I gesticulated and waved the empty case under my brother's nose, there came a loud bang, and suddenly the case was no longer in my hand. Naturally we thought I might have lost my grip and flung it away, so we made a thorough search of the floor nearby, under the shelves, everything. Wasn't there. We went up and down every aisle in the entire store, wasn't there.
We circled back to where we started and the case was back on the shelf where it had started. The store was small enough we would have seen if an employee had found it and put it back. Indeed, there was only one employee, who had remained behind the counter this entire time.
Many years later I still have no explanation for this.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

We moved house just before Christmas 2001 and when we unpacked our decorations we were missing half of them. We unpacked every single unpacked box and checked everywhere for them (several time’s) but could not find them so we went and bought a heap of new decorations. A few months later we moved again and when Christmas 2002 rolled around again we unpacked all our decorations and discovered the box that had been missing. On the plus side we haven’t had to buy any decorations since then.

Thank you both for sharing your stories i thought I'd lost the plot so hearing others having similar experiences is reassuring.
