So I did these polls the last two years and they seemed to be popular for determining what we thought was the best of Big Finish of that year and now that it is November I've decided to get it started. Pick your top three from each month and at the end of January a top 20 pull will be compiled once polling has ended. This one is for October 2020. I'm not including any of this year's compilation rereleases as they are not produced for 2020 and excerpts are not included. November's thread will not go live until everything has been released for this month or the last day of the month (whichever comes first).

The War Master and Shadow of the Daleks were both really impressive. I also liked the Paternosters, although not as much as the previous installments. If I had to go with a favorite, I would say the War Master because I really enjoyed myself there.

Shadow of the Daleks! I'm bored of Daleks but this was great, & of course Peter Davison was brilliant as usual.

The War Master takes the top spot for me. Derek Jacobi is on fine form as usual and Paul McGann's Time War stories continue to be best outside of his own range. I just wish it was longer!
Shadow of the Daleks is brilliant too, even better now I've heard the concluding release. He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not rounds up the top three, it's fun and I like McGann and Brian the Ood.

Have to say I greatly enjoyed both The War Master and Torchwood releases for this month but the standout to me was clearly Shadow of the Daleks 1.
It’s a very experimental release and one which I hope will pay off dividends come the second part.

Shadow of the Daleks
BF seriously set the bar high for themselves with 4 x 1 Ep stories all pacey, engaging plus substantial. Anji Mohindra displays brilliant vocal verity in de facto Companion roles, speaking of, once again Peter Davison plays a more comfortable with themself 5th Doc without his usual "Friends".
Three Monkeys
Another great Owen and Andy pairing
War Master
Thoroughly enjoyable Master Doctor Face off.
