Well thanks to Kestrel I know am not breaking any laws creating this ๐๐
Well The Doctor and Elizabethan England...he is drawn to it as often as he is drawn to Earth this was a really strong story in the Lost Stories and one I enjoy relistening too.I immediately conjure the dark streets the smell of urine of dog poo and horse crap everywhere and slightly damp and even worse if I imagine it in the summer lol. This has strong characterisation for not only our Tardis leads but the supporting cast and is suitably grim affair and wonderfully directed by John Ainsworth and am sure if it had been a tv episode it would have been wonderful set as long as they had tied up the lighting men ๐๐

When you can get really lost in an audio atmosphere it totally makes a BF or any audios tale and this one has it in spades doesnโt it? swarming flies, flickering fires, rainfall they really give it their all in this production and I think thatโs part of the reason it is one of the Best of The Lost Stories range well that and great audio acting a brilliant tale and very grim
