The OOT story I'm looking forward to the most is Wink but this sounds cool too!
The Cybermen show up a lot overall, but not very often in stories set purely in Earth's history (Just The Silver Turk on audio?*).
* Not counting things like The Reaping where it's meant to be "contemporary" to the era of the series.

I think it was a little bit historical, a little bit contemporary and a little bit distant future, if I recall correctly?

I wonder which logo will be in the inner sleeve ? Judging by the downloaded files, as with Out of Time 1, it's the Tenth Doctor's logo. These are technically 10DAs, after all.

Really enjoyed this. I think it dials back the fun a little compared to Out of Time and instead adds some more substance to the story. And I think it's better for it - we've had this pairing of Doctors already, they quickly acknowledge Time Crash and just get on with it. That's not to say the interaction isn't fun, it absolutely is, but it mostly feeds into the story and their dynamic goes from there. It's a nice contrast to Out of Time and it makes me excited to see how it will differ in the next instalment. Great imagery in the story, great sound and great music, topped off with a brilliant, yet small cast. Peter Davison and David Tennant are of course brilliant, they bounce off each other well and I've always felt Davison excels on audio where he didn't quite manage on TV. I think it's his voice and temperament with age with contrast to his younger appearance. I liked Shelley Conn as Tina and I thought Mark Gatiss put in a great turn and made up for his insubstantial role in Dalek Universe 1. I am fond of the Invasion style Cybermen too; they're perfect for skulking about in the catacombs! Was that a hint of further adventures with the two Doctors at the end? It seemed to be, but Davison says that last line quite sinisterly! As I mentioned above, it's nice to have two multi-Doctor stories contrast with each other. It shows that the desire to pair incarnations together is there, but there's potential beyond the quips and the story can dictate their interactions.

Fresh up on CultBox, my take on The Gates of Hell: Quick-witted and entertaining, if with a rather simplistic resolution. Lots of cracking Doctorly interaction though!

Just finished this one and absolutely loved it. The pairing of Five and Ten works so well, and I really hope we get to hear more of them in the future. I loved the inclusion of the Time Agency, and I hope we hear more of them again as well. Howard Carter's music was brilliant, and his Cyberman leitmotif is awesome - I think it's the same as the one in the 9DAs trailer.
Can't wait for Out of Time 3: Wink!

Well, this was quite enjoyable. I do not rate this as highly as the first one (10 meets 4)- the first one was much more fun an whimsical. This one, while still fun, is a bit more serious. The story is nothing awe-inspiring, it is okay, and works as a tool to bring the two Doctors together. I would say, the story itself is standard Big Finish. The meat of this release, and the reason I tuned in, definitely was the interaction of 10 and 5. It is as fantastic and as well played as one could have wished for. It was near perfect. I liked all the little barbs they threw at each other and all the little nods to each incarnation. I also quite liked Mark Gatiss' performance in there. So yeah, it was perfectly fine, although not great. Looking forward to Sixie meeting 10 now!

Had lots of fun with this release. Of all the multi-Doctor pairings we've had, there are certain ones that have extra special chemistry and one of those is Five and Ten. They both sounded like they were having a blast and I had a blast listening.

One of the better multi doctor stories, 10 & 5 work well as a pair
Nice when you get a story that’s not a sprawling epic
A lot of fun, well worth the money.......

Probably the most fun I’ve had with anything from Big Finish, well, since last year’s Out of Time. How nice to listen to a lark of a story that doesn’t tie into any larger or more ponderous story. Both Doctors pour on the charm and the camaraderie between the two is palpable. Slight but in the best possible way. Hugely entertaining. I guess we can say thank you to lockdown for something.

Well I wasn't sure if this range would work with it being 10 meeting different Doctors in every release (& I would still prefer a better mix of Doctors) but this was great fun.

Prefered this to vol 1, but I think it goes some way to showing that these single-CD releases dont really work, and need to be the full four episodes if there's a decent story in there.
Also, {Spoiler} what about that cliffhanger? At first I thought it a humourous reference to the end of Time Crash, but the dialogue doens't match. So, are we getting a sequel? A box set? A trio with Jenny? I always thought that "Legacy of Time" should have ended with a several-years-to-go teaser for the 60th Anniversary story, might this be such a thing instead?

I thought The Gates of Hell was rather good myself, I really enjoyed hearing the Fifth Doctor and Tenth Doctor together [again] and this story was perfect for the single CD 'Out of Time' story format, with nothing being dragged out over many parts. The Cybermen and two Doctor's working well together made The Gates of Hell an entertaining listen, the hour just flew by. This is a range I am really liking so far with two really good stories that have also been good fun. Roll on "Out of Time" #3.
