Slightly suffering from the shadow of the previous 8th Doctor story, The Silver Turk, but actually a pretty good story in it's own right.
The mix of historical witch trials and a crashed space ship works pretty well for the most part, as does the Tardis nipping back and forward 300 years.
The acting, cast (especially Simon Rouse as the Witch Pricker) and sound design are all excellent, but it does get quite confusing once things begin to be revealed.
I like it, and it gets a must-get-those-nails-done-soon 7 out of 10 from me.

A very entertaining story even if it does go into some very strange places.
I will agree though, it definitely was overshadowed by The Silver Turk. To be honest, Rick Briggs is one of those writers who I wish had written more for Big Finish. Really enjoyed his The Acheron Pulse as well.

This is the story focused on Shelley's legacy, right? I remember it as being my favorite of the lot, though my Shelley re-listen has sadly not progressed very quickly, so I might think otherwise on the second go.
I don't remember too many of the details, but I loved the trope of Mary almost-but-not-quite "spoiling" herself on her legacy and found the whole witchy business pretty fun, to the extent that I found the TV show's "The Witchfinders" episode pretty disappointing by comparison.
