Maxine Klibingaitis, a favourite actrees of mine, from Australia, died last week. She'd been in Neighbours and other things but probably best known for her stint on Prisoner Cell Block H. She was only 58

She was lovely. Apparently she died 'suddenly and unexpectedly', not that that makes it any less sad.

Jerry Springer, who's name cannot be spoken by those of a certain age without saying 'Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!', has died at the age of 79. Sad days.

Me too. Outrageous squabbles - but very entertaining

While it is unfortunate he has passed away, I can't say I particularly care to celebrate a man who built his fame off of the exploitation of the middle-class and people on or below the poverty line.

What a pity. I must admit, I didn’t grow up with him as the Demon Headmaster but I remember him being extremely entertaining in whatever he appeared in. A memorable guest role in “Goodnight, Sweetheart” springs to mind. In fact, just talking about his time with Big Finish he was particularly excellent as the villain in The English Way of Death.

RIP "Tina Turner" aged 83..
She had been there, done that..
She is so awesome that she (and also Cher- another notable survivor of DV) covered the ultimate womens empowerment song released by Alice Cooper back in 1975.

Ghost Light's John Nettleton passed away on 12 July. Doctor Who was a tiny note on his CV, but a memorable one!
