Quite a clever story with a great villain and a shocking twist ending.

Definitely a 5/5 story. The Crooked Man is one of the best 4DA's there is.

Thought we had a Thread for this so thanks Williams for correcting that oversight One of the standouts of the 4DAs, brilliantly creepy threat and a great twist within a twist. Regards mark687

A superb story.
On another note entirely, I’m just a little surprised Big Finish have yet to think of an excuse to reunite Sarah Smart with Peter Davison for a Fifth Doctor story.

It would be interesting to have Peter do a DW audio with two of the three Sarahs that he’s worked with on tv.

The an old BF adage just in general but also that particularly works with the 4DAs "You can't go wrong picking a story by Dorney" Regards mark687

5/5, easy. A surprise return for an element from another era, but not a gratuitous one, as it's in service of a very human story.
