A new story of Thunderbirds will presumably be making its way to Big Finish. CD and Hardcover showed up on Amazon. Written by John Theydon in 1966, adapted by Ross Arrowsmith. It will be released in April 2022.

Blimey they left that announcement late. What is it with these releases that they get announced so close to release.
Anyway more Thunderbirds is very welcome.

That’s really near the knuckle in terms of release dates. It does make me wonder if they merely forgot about this release. Although, as already mentioned, this wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.

I wish they’d continued the arrangement where if you buy the physical release from the Gerry Anderson store you could send BF proof of purchase and they’d add the download to your account.
I do most of my listening in the car or walking so do so using the BF app. I’m not going to buy twice, unless BF ever do a ridiculously cheap sale on these.
I still like to get the CDs for reasons that always crumble when the wife complains about too much stuff in the house.

Oh finally, was wondering if they’d forgotten this.
That sorts my bank holiday listening then, and come to think of it this is same bank holiday I listened to the first Thunderbirds audiobook last year.

Ah another enjoyable ride. It’s probably blind nostalgia but I do find these releases such a nice outing. Yes they’re not the height of storytelling but this one does escape the endless pursuit template of the last adaptations.
I could nitpick this a lot but I honestly don’t want to. Make more of these Big Finish, please.
